Yes, to both. But the thing is, the ball of fluff part is awfully cute, so they are pretty much the only tiny breed that will not be purged when I conquer the world.

Well, I found the video about Thunt's kids (can't find the one when he was younger).

Plus he has a cat.
New one, a bit preachy and contrived.
... I don't get it.
SpoilerHow is Duv a "something else"?
Hell, if anyone's a "something else" it's Saves for taking adventurer levels.
Also, where did Duv get those blades?
I think what Saves is getting at is that she's lived up to her destiny and is dying as a goblin should, while Duv has lost sight of what it even means to be a goblin, so any leadership she can provide will be damaged and meaningless.
Well, at least if these characters die, maybe we can move the plot back to characters who are actually interesting.
Called it.
As predicted, it was a bad move.
Yep.
Let's say that having you belly cutted twice, don't help a correct reasoning, and be done with it. :smallwink:
I think what Fox was trying to say is that Duv is killing a goblin - granted, a goblin with adventuring levels, but still a goblin - and since Duv's entire purpose is to celebrate and represent all of goblinkind, it's not Fox who's lost the battle.
Or did I get something mixed up? D:
..New strip.
SpoilerWelp. Dies is about to lose his arm again.
Awesome moment for Dies there.
Nice echoing in the final panel too.
Wasn't really on board with the Duv hate until now. She's just really stupid and immature.
Will be satisfied to see Dies lose his "1-shot anything from any range" arm.
Crossing my fingers that Grem survives this. Biscuit should be finished but this is goblins after all.
Wait, so her enslaving everything, feeding the slaves to monsters, attempting to murder a traveler just passing though, and planning to conquer the world is a-ok, but actually taking advantage in combat against a distracted foe is bad?
Honestly, Fox was dumb. Duv wasn't going to change her stripes because of a friendship speech. Yeah attacking Fox was underhanded, but this is from the girl that just made a speech 3 pages ago about how goblins are destructive. She acted destructive. Also ruthless, bloodthirsty, and even intelligent in the circumstance, so yeah, pretty much exactly as she has been acting the entire time she's been in the comic.
In any case. On the new strip.
SpoilerHuh, Dies cutting off his own hand is pretty cool, and reminds me of this. So props all around.
As to Biscuit vs Grem, well, at least the orc is going down like a badass. Also it may just be because of what's happening with Dies, but the angle of Biscuit's eyes makes it look like he's about to cut his leg off.
Dies is about to self-amputate his arm, and Biscuit is (possibly) about to self-amputate his infected leg.
...I hope Dies doesn't die from blood loss, like nearly happened before Klik saved him. :smalleek:
Guys i think what Fox is saying is that Duv is basically doing the same thing Redcloak did. She's supposed to represent and protect all goblins, regardless of clan, allegiance, possibly even subtype (hobgoblin, bugbear, etc) but she's doing it wrong and making it so that only those that agree to follow her or that she likes are spared, and any others will be killed on sight, just like how Redcloak was treating Hobgoblins poorly before realizing he's supposed to be standing for ALL goblinoids.
Right now the results of the fights looks like
SpoilerBiscuit v Grem: I'd hazard there is a 60% chance they they both die, 25% chance only Grem dies, 15% chance only Biscuit dies.
Dies vs "Father Bitch": Pretty sure he's going to go ahead with the amputation and "win", but whether Father Bitch can survive without Dies is an unknown variable.
Duv vs Saves: Saves has the moral victory, Suv has the actual victory.
Of course something could happen to upset that prediction.
Even with the super special awesome shading, that blood looks very, very wrong.
Man, Biscut must have taken about 12 ranks in badass while being tortured. His leg is rotting, currently at about mid thigh, and he is taking arrow after arrow and he doesnt care, there might as well be an explosion behind him for how he just keeps on walking.
I think there is still room for saves to survive. Duv seemed to be a bit poleaxed there at the end, she may toss saves a small potion to stabalize her and let her go.
As for Dies, I see this happening a few ways. One, he cuts off the arm and wins. Two, he cuts off the arm and it stays alive, only now its pissed. Three, the arm sees what dies is about to do and retreats, for the problem to be delayed until a later date.
Possible grim option, it kills dies, (horribly) and uses his carcass as a mold for him to move around with. We get an official name for green and angry (minihulk perhaps?) as the story continues.
I want the next comic to be Biscuit chopping off his infected (and pant-covered) leg, and before he bleeds out, bludgeoning Grem to death with it.
I'm kinda expecting Kills-horribly to just form it's own body after getting chopped off, i mean we've seen it form a goblin shape by making a shell around Dies, so we know it's possible.
Maybe I'm imagining things, but I have the idea that she has some amount of cleric casting or SLAs from the same template that gives her the wings, so a CMW is probably not impossible. She's still defeated Fox, but maybe she'll want more than 9 rounds to think about whether she'd rather keep her alive and try to win the argument instead of just the fight.
I consider this likely. I think "Junior" cares only about Dies and so would react to the amputation the way an abusive spouse responds to divorce threats - possibly by killing the spouse before they can leave, but at least as likely by attempting to conciliate them (for now; eventually they'll forget and go back to abusing).
Unlikely, given how unnatural it was for any Goblin to take adventuring class levels, according to anyone but Fox and the Party. (I'm assuming that Young and Beautiful was an Adept, and that NPC classes are part of Goblin tradition.) But a Thuntemplate is always possible; Duv might actually be God-Blooded or have a Maglubiet variant of Lolth-touched. Half-Fiend seems unlikely though, since that would probably give her demonic bat wings instead of angel-style white feathered wings. Perhaps she's Half-Celestial as I suspected, with the alignment details waived for Rule of Cool.
