"This will be interesting", the old wizard mumbles. "First, let's gather a little power..." With a gesture, a vast spread of frozen tundra appears behind him.
Hmph The mage grumbled, You think you can win with that? and, with a gesture, a steam appeared.

With a curt cutting motion of his hand, the old mage snaps the magic calling the warrior to the field. He grimaces as the cyclops attacks again, but looks at the power he has amassed so far and is not discouraged.
Sensing an opportunity, he calls another fountain to the field and seizes hold of time itself.

((No, it's the entire untap phase. NOTHING gets to untap normally for either of us. This makes paying the upkeep for Stasis somewhat problematic for me in the long term, but there are ways to deal with that.
I take it you don't like weddings? Or was that a comment about Stasis?))
