Hmm... I guess I could throw an angry treant or something his way.

Hey Orb?
Fair warning for the Hunting Grounds.
Your PC is meta-gaming a bit. No fire attacks have been used against the Glacial Dragon yet and he has no way of knowing that fire would be ineffective. The gunslinger's attack was force/lightning based.
Oh... really? Sorry, I misread that I guess. I'll edit.
>_>

Keveak away!

Hey, Rebonack, a question about the dragon in the Hunting Grounds. Would it be entirely unaffected by normal guns and such?
A chunk of metal thrown at the dragon really fast and punching a hole in an organ is probably the best way to injure a Glacial Dragon.
Ideally you would want something like an anti-tank rocket. A shaped charge designed to explode a hole through heavy armor. That would make the big monster's day horrible in a hurry.
Remember, his scales are only about as strong as steel. That's impressive, but his main form of defense comes from the fact that thermal-based attacks don't work well on him.
As it turns out, all of my characters are disgustingly civilized and have no reason to visit the Hunting Grounds. =I *baps characters* :smalltongue:
Sadly, I very much doubt the triplets could have gotten their hands on a rocket launcher, what with them being precisely identical to the thugs who robbed the Nexus's top weapons supplier just a few months ago. That sorta reputation tends to get you on a lot of blacklists. :smalltongue:
^ Isn't Wenomir trying to be the "best" swordsman or something? Seems to me that if someone was training towards a goal like that, the best place to do it would be in a savage wild-lands full of dangerous beasts, where any worthy foe you defeat would be resurrected more or less harmlessly.:smallconfused:
That's a good point, I suppose. I'll think about it.
Is the Glacial dragon dead yet? If not can a PC join the fight?
Hello! Icekiller here! But I guess you probably already know me, sort of. Anyway, I'm back. Again. This time, I'll try not to get left behind so easily. :smalltongue:
Hey Icekiller!
If you want to get Kyinde and Xalicus back into things, the Tieflings they met in the DFI have a plot of sorts going on, and I'm sure room of some sort could be found in it for them.
Hello Purity! I've seen you around smbg!
Posting may be slow tonight. I decided to reactivate my account on a wiki I'm part of, only to find that all sorts of drama has gone on in the year or so since I effectively stopped editing there, so I'm slowly trying to piece together what exactly has gone on, which is taking up time I'd otherwise be using here.
*Falls asleep*
zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
Thanks! Since Xalicus is probably hanging around the Inn, he'll probably fall into it one way or another whether he likes it or not. Or perhaps especially if he doesn't like it. That's the way things go for him. :smallamused:
As for Kyinde, she may or may not get involved depending on whether or not something else interesting happens elsewhere first.
Indeed. The SMBG and Free-Form Roleplaying forums are my main hangouts, especially SMBG. I feel more comfortable in the relaxed atmosphere or while in-character.
You're welcome! And that depends on if either of them get there before the Tieflings head off to Riverside.
Hey, C'nor, I posted a monster in the Hunting Grounds for you.
I saw. I had some stuff to do right after you did, though, and then I had to figure out if Spreagadh could tween out of the way or not. Post should be up soon.
Also, I think it's your turn in the Nest?
Woah, 19 pages and no witty thread name?
Maybe I should stay back in ongoing games...
So... Since I'll be off for several hours fairly soon, I've made a list of people who I know I need to post for, am uncertain if I need to post for them or not, or need some sort of clarification on before posting. If everyone in the latter two categories could let me know, please?
SpoilerPeople I know I need to post for:
BR in Trog's Second Floor.
TE in the Hunting Grounds.
&we in the DFI.
People who I may or may not need to post for:
LoW/Morty in Riverside.
BR in Remnant.
Orb in Outside.
Rebonack and Keveak in inside.
People who I require clarification from before posting:
Ghar on the weird plot I was thinking of running in Riverside. Specifically whether or not Tenebras should be told by NPC in order to kick things off or not.
Alexandrian in Outside - is the figure in the cave detectable in some way?
I am also waiting for a post from you in Outside.
Eadin and Grantz just got through the portal and are waiting for Lynette before they're crossing the river.
*pokes Orchestra to GLoG*
Oops. I knew about that one, but I forgot to list it... Will Eadin, at least, be approaching Charon? Whether or not he says his bit affects what I post.
You could always try starting the plot somewhere else in riverside C'nor. Like southside, eastside or northside.
Yes, she will. I'll make a post where she greets Charon, if you want?
They'll have to cross the river anyway, and they're not swimming :smalltongue:
About this, I think it's probably best if you draw someone else into the plot. Investigative plots have never been my thing and I'm sure you could find someone that would be happy to take part. Perhaps rather than having to report it to some authority, the person that would do so could run into someone willing to help them? That way you aren't so limited in who can be in the plot.
Lemme check on that. Gimme just a second here!
*Picks up Magic Eight Ball and starts shaking!*
Is the figure in the cave detectable in some way?
...
Ask again later? What sort of response is that?
...
Okay, that's better! Yes. Absolutely.
Magical powah/bizarrely keen vision/paranormal detection should divulge the spirit's presence straightaway!
And do note that these spirits are in almost every way imaginable dissimilar to Rebo's current portrayal of ghosts and such. Figments of the past and the long dead they are not. They are power without form, grace without vessel, life without ever having lived in the first place.
C'nor add Alley near DYF to the list. Don't know why beans did take so lng, but it enough time pass by.
