Hueco Mundo. That is all.
I may or may not just have Taiki find someone to interact with for a while if we need to spice up Sereitei thread activity. Most of my involvement is aimed at Mortal World until the planes start interacting.
I know I said I was going to be getting back to this game, but... yeah, I haven't. And I don't think I will be.
I like my characters and hate abandoning them before I've really gotten a chance to play them, but... I don't think this game is going to go anywhere, to be quite plain and blunt. It's already not going anywhere, and I've got other things I want to do without feeling held back by guilt for not posting in this game.
So, sorry guys. But I'm going to drop this.
Part of the problem is people not getting themselves up to a point where they want to post.
I can understand your frustrations, Vael. I share them, to a point.
But if people keep quitting, this game really will go nowhere.
So maybe we should try getting it all out at once.
Anyone else feel like quitting?:smallsigh:
I am not quitting, just preoccupied at the moment.
I... Should post in Episode 2. Will work on it now.
*twitch*
I mirror the statement that this game will definitely not go anywhere with people dropping left and right because they can't be bothered to push for things to move. I know it's hard to post when you really don't feel like it. As someone who has his mood change at the drop of the hat, I know that too damn well. But if any of you who don't have the time or inclination to post still feel like giving a crap about this game anymore, you'll bite the bullet and see what you can do. I am positive this game has it in it to be as great, if not better than the last. And if I have to start cracking the whip like KD, then so be it, but I am not letting this game die because a few people decided the investment wasn't worth it.
Let me also be blunt and plain.
The solution to "things aren't happening" is not saying "well, I guess I'll just quit".
That's the worst solution possible.
Instead, how about you get off your rear and try helping things to move along.
How many characters do we have stuck in limbo? If you're stuck in limbo, de-limbo-fy yourself! Talk to the player who's got you stuck.
Or, if that player decided that quitting was somehow the best idea, godmod the character until you're out of the scene. Or just skip it.
Also, if anyone happens to have Edge's IM/email/non-board contact info, dropping him a line would be really really awesome. Really.
I realize RL happens. If RL gets too much, and you have to stop because of that, I understand.
But just throwing your hands up because it's "not going anywhere" is not really helpful, and basically makes it harder for the rest of us.:smallannoyed:
I think the best way to keep people...get the plots underway! Which means, get the joint ops thing going, and get the Hueco Mundo fight rolling! Sorry I haven't been posting lately...it's just I haven't really been needed that much anywhere other than in the MW. I have no intentions of quitting, actually, I'm quite happy to help get the plot moving so our RP holds more interest...because I can see why people want to quit...there just isn't that much happening. I can't exactly move things along with the characters I have now...but I'm happy to help work things out so we don't lose more people, because quite frankly, losing people...sucks. :smallfrown:
*Crawls in* Hey guys whats up!
Joint-Ops thread is up.
If you've somehow missed this all until now, you can still get your character involved. Just have them show up in an appropriately militant manner! :smallwink:
Liked the last line. :smalltongue:
Added to the wiki. Care to add a description?
I'll see about that in a moment.
About Episode 2:
The crux of it is that Himura took away Hannibal's sword. If you feel like it, you can expand on it and describe Mio and Kazuo doing all sorts of nasty things to him to bring him down. :smallwink: I'll end the flashback, and Hannibal's part in the thread, in my next post.
You know, I could probably avoid a lot of the Ayaka/Sayaka confusion by changing the former's name to Ayase.
In fact, consider it done.
EDIT: I should probably decide what nationality her mother was, for future reference. And whether she understands Soeren's native language.
I'm a man. A TRUE MAN NEVER QUITS!
That said, I'm trying to get involved, yet no one seems to respond to my actions. It's like my characters are invisible. I'm tempted to have them moon the audience and see if anyone notices.
...Idea!
Your teacher can "swap" with Soren, mumble something about "curriculum ordering" or..I dunno. Make something up.
But your teacher subs for class...what was it, 2-3? Whichever one has all the 17-year-old characters.
That way, you can try getting some interaction going on, for everyone involved.
Soeren already had a roll call. I thought KD meant to have him relieve Soeren, rather than retcon.
And I could have sworn I just posted to have Ayase ask Sayaka if she said something.
Ack!! Sorry... let me edit that.
Yeah, I'm still here. I haven't posted in a while because both my characters that are currently doing something are waiting on Edge, who apprently fell off the planet when no one was watching. Tricky thing, gravity. I spose I could start off one of my guys in MW to try and liven the place up.
Do we have enough players active to get a Mortal World plot running? We have two theoretical plots set (the "Attack on Phoenix Town High" and the "Michiko's Dastardly Move"), and honestly we should get one rolling as soon as possible to avoid continuing monotony.
Also, anyone want to deal with an assassin chasing them down?
If we want to stay true to our plan, then I guess Michiko's plot should be resolved first. I think the ball's on Callos as far as that goes. We have enough players, now it's just a matter of getting the characters together so hilarity can ensue.
EDIT: Also, Draken, if you still feel like adding something to Episode 2, would you please do it quickly?
Like said, I think the ball's on Callos. Since we seem to have holes in our memory, let him say which way he wants it to go, so we know to dedicate our effort towards right plot.
Fair enough.
I definitely agree on the point of doing something; just sitting around vaguely "doing school" seems to be boring people (somewhat including me).
Incidentally...seriously, does someone have contact info for Edge, outside of the forum itself? I'm kind of worried, what with the sudden disappearance and all...
