Doesn't look much like a joke to me.
Stick is only available to arcane casters, so that's not an option.

Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
I'm pretty sure dresses like that actually exist. Also, double-sided sticky tape.
-
Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
I think RAW is that clothes are stored in Hammerspace while the druid is in wildshape form.

Does this count as hammerspace? And if Radic is using double sided tape...wouldn't that hurt a lot when she removes the dress?:smalleek:
-
Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
Depends on how strict you are with the definition of "hammerspace". Puritans would point out that since the druid can't access gear while Wildshaped this shouldn't count (since hammerspace allows you to withdraw stuff for comical effect).

Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
TvTroping has given me another idea in regards to what's happening in the next strip.
2:1 odds says that someone in the party (probably Janine - they're currently on top of the church she spoke at) walks by and sees the two of them kissing. Their first thought would probably be "Wait, they're kissing?" as opposed to "How'd they get on the roof?"
-
Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
Hmm, a little whiplash there. going from side view to behind view to whipping back almost 180 to front view is a little jarring. I think a slow rotation to the backview would work better. However, each angle was drawn quite nicely!
Am I the only one creeped out? from the guy's perspective, I get upset, talk about my brother, and she kisses me, what? First she asks me to elaborate about myself, then she prevents me from talking?
-
Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
Meh, the way I interpreted it is that Radic felt very sorry that she unintentionally hurt his feelings. It's somewhat an apology kiss.
First she tries to apologize, but he's too miffed to listen. Then he tries to make him feel better by giving him complements...that's not really helping either. So, she tries to change subjects and show interest in this "Verdis" guy. He not only tells her that Verdis is his brother, but heavily implies that he's dead. Now she's really gotten him depressed. Well, the only thing that might lighten his mood now is if he gets a kiss from her. It's not like she'd really object to doing it anyways...so she does it.

Pretty much this.

Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
Woah. I was just archive-binging this comic and I found something that may have a significant connection to the current strip.
"Red Fever...please don't remind me of that."
The current strip pretty much confirms that Verdis is dead. Three guesses how he died.
-
Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
1: Climbing accident
2: Tumbling accident
3: Red Fever.
-
Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
1. Fell down some stairs
2. Heart failure
3. red fever
-
Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
1. Red Fever
2. Red Fever
3. ???????
4. Profit

This is going to be a running gag, isn't it. :smalltongue:

Yes, and I'm always going to maintain that who ever dies died of heart failure. It will even be true

Welll... we can say they're having spontaneous memories of reading My Little Dashie, the saddest story ever written...

Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
Hey, I'm headed to visit my friends for the weekend. I'm going to try to work on the comic during the train ride, but if I can't finish it beforehand then I'll post it Monday.
-
Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
Don't worry Coffee, we don't mind!
Also, three guesses:
1. Fell off a cliff and will be back as a villain.
2. Fell off a building and will be back as an anti-hero.
3. Got Red Fever and will be resurrected to temporarily join Team Gale.

That... That story should have a warning for Lethal Concentrations of Sadness. ;_;

Yes, yes it should. Hence it being a good excuse for a heart attack.

Re: Murphy's Law 7: ...Maybe?
It figures the one prediction I get right about the next strip is the one I don't post.
The brother
1. Got into a fight with an animal
2. Got shoved while climbing.
and
3. Fell on a vat of Red Fever.
4. Died

Why do people call it a sad story? It had a happy ending! Happy, I tell you!

How do you think the party will misconstrue this?
