Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
It would seem that the latest folly sponsored by L'Emperuer has been quite the success.
Nobody died in the night.
In fact, the art has been so inspiring that two 'corpses' rose from the biers they'd been set on for their wake, much to the joy of their families.
Lamech and Fin have returned from the dead. As per the rules post, their roles have been modified accordingly.
The event continues - feel free to make submissions (and post them in thread - so all the judges can see them). Also, it is once again daytime, which means lynch phase. Day will last roughly 54 hours (as I won't be home Friday until 4 hours past the standard deadline).

Although their roles are modified, do they retain faction alignment?

If they changed faction, that would be quite the potential security breach; providing their old faction was interested in keeping a low profile. It's reasonable to presume they would retain faction alignment since Vampire is all about keeping secrets and not being certain of things.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Fleeing Coward, because there's nothing more unnerving than a vampire chicken.
-
Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Fin because only a vampire would come back from the "dead".
-
Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Diva De for being racist against zombies.
-
Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Reinholdt's alive and above me? And I have no clues? Fair enough.
-
Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
I shall point at Banjo1985 and offer this as a submission
In case it were unclear, I made this myself and did not grab it off of the internet somewhere. :smallcool:

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
As you already know, I'm a Neutral Role. The Neutral win conditions, especially those of the hidden Neutrals, aren't always the easiest to complete, so I figured I could set up an alliance between the Neutrals so we could help each other complete our win conditions and survive. If you're interested, PM me. I'm in posession of some information that's quite interesting to Neutral roles.
EDIT: And I'm a Noble, so I'll act as their in-thread spokesperson. If you're interestred in getting in touch with us, or even joining us, contact me.

Being racist... ts ts

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Fin to allow for more options.
-
Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
I am confused. Do we have more than one Resurrectionist? How did we get two people back at the same time?
-
Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
I am swayed by Alarra's argument. banjo1985

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Gérard Carrière walks the streets of Paris, searching for things to judge for the contest. Strange how few things there are, one would think that in a city focused on art like Paris there would be more. He walks past a Fleeing Coward, still thinking.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Reinholdt because "zombie" is not a race.

It's different this time, but no more comfortable.
The lunatic races through the bright midday streets of London until he stops in a small grove lined with stones. His laughter fails him as he stares blankly at a large stone. Looking up at you following him, he beckons you nearer.
The sunlight all but vanishes as you approach, hiding behind the clouds, when you realize that the stones are in reality grave markers.
You turn to gaze upon the headstone that the one known as Malkav was inspecting a moment earlier, but when your gaze returns to your maddened guide he is nowhere to be found, vanishing almost before your very eyes.
A chill rushes through your bones and your hair stands on end for a moment as you glance at the gravestone again.
The name reads (choose one from the following):
- Andre Fairchilde
- Banjo1985
- Eldritch Knight
- Flying Elephant
- Indurain
- Khaldan
- Stu42
And then you awaken again with a start.
((Choose one name from the above list and PM your choice to Helgraf and Shadow.))
((Sorry. I missed one name on the last one....))
I'll go with EK
At the end of that night day, I died and Eldritch Knight came back to life. So there's probably something weird going on.

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Reinholdt' because I'm just guesing now

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
I have a submission for the art contest. And a vote for Fin since it's the first name that came to my mind.
-
Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Fin because I know the guy that's currently up for lynch isn't a vampire.
-
Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...

Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Fleeing Coward then it is.

You forgot to make your vote red.
-
Re: Vampire V : Paris by Night...
Fleeing Coward, I'm opposed on general principal to killing those who came back from the dead.

Fun Facts: While the Resurrectionist is the most reliable form of resurrection, there is at least one other power role who can potentially bring someone back from the dead. And one item.
Returning from the dead isn't frequent, but it happens often enough that there are rules in regards to how it works in the rules & roles thread (see link in first post). There are additional rules from the narrator side as well to keep the effect from one-siding the game; these have been refined since the very first Vampire to cover potential loopholes spotted since then.
We now return you to your lynch and festival already in progress.

I kind of figured it must be something like that, so thanks for the information. I'm just surprised to see two people back at the same time.
As for votes, does it matter that much at this point? Fleeing Coward has a stunning victory at this point. I guess I'll vote for Diva De to even up the other votes a bit in case it matters later today, although I'll admit I have few ideas to go on.
