Tournament Waiting Room
Lucy nods, smiling back. "Thanks. So...how long have you been here? In the Nexus?"
I'm not sure if Ilpholin is visible from the waiting room. If she is she gets some envious looks.

[Harnel's School and Tournament Grounds]
A young, brown-haired man in a red wizard's robe enters the spectators stand after paying his fee and starts looking for a good seat to watch the action from.
Waiting Room
She shakes her head dully, although she looks considerably less sullen than before.
Nuh uh. They hate me. I have to he hit 'cause my parents were devils.
[Harnel's School and Tournament Grounds]
Wenomir looks up when he sees Ilpholin arrive.
"Oh, hello Ilpholin. Long time, no see."
It should be noted that he looks differently now - his eyes are those of a normal human and brown-colored, his skin is a bit darker - certainly not as unhlealthily pale as before - and his hair is slightly lighter.
[Harnel's School and Tournament Grounds]
Harnel nods to Ilpholin, "Glad you could make it. Think we should give them a little longer to come in, or should we get underway?"
Waiting Room
Well, there's nothing I can do about it.
She leans into Kirlia's shoulder a little bit.
Tournament Waiting Room
"A few years. I haven't really been keeping track. How about you?" Azurelle's curious. Although I suspect this is another born-in-the-future type.
Tournament Waiting Room
"Are you like that man I once met who aged backwards, slowly getting younger and younger?" I have no idea how, where or when she met that man.
Tournament Waiting Room
Kirlia will hug the girl a little tighter.
"Why are you here, then? Are they making you?"
Tournament Waiting Room
"Not really. And how would somebody like that be born? For me it's more like time isn't linear. It's more like a big ball of wibbley-wobbley, timey-wimey...stuff," Lucy explains.
Tournament Waiting Room
"As I understand it, he woke up one morning in hospital, having just died of old age. Or something. His mother aged normally, though; I met her, too. She wanted advice when an eighteen year-old turned up at her door and said he was her son. He traced her using scrying magic." I'd imagine he was born in reverse.
Tournament Waiting Room
Perhaps it's something best not thought about.
"That's...very unusual. I guess that's nearly normal around here though..."
And now I must be off, as the Sprint Cup race is about to start and one of my favourite drivers is in a new (and much better than before) car this week.
Tournament Waiting Room
"I take it there's lots of time-distorted individuals in HALO then. Aside from the odd inventor whose machine exploded, time travel's not too common around here. Probably because there's both too much time to travel in and not enough time to travel in- that conflict can.... Oh, dear." Cause deadtime, is the end of that sentence.
"Yes..." Ilpholin says, pondering Wenomir's condition for a while, but making no major comments about it right now.
He still have scars all over too or did those get healed when he got humanized?
"Anyone who shows up past this point can fight in later rounds. Might as well get the first one started."
Tournament Waiting Room
"Hey now...this tournament isn't to the death. You've got nothing to worry about..."
She tries to keep hugging the girl.
"You need to be taken away from your foster parents though..."
Tournament Waiting Room
The young boy, named Eon, looks around. Mayn woman seem to be part of the Tournament. Some are hug each other and others dress each other. Eon just shakes his head. He will seek for a male person and place himself next to him. Hopefully this starts soon.
[Harnel's School and Tournament Grounds]
"Yes, I agree. Anyone who shows up later will still get to fight."
Wenomir's scars are unchanged.
Tournament Waiting Room
"Then how about this...you want to just leave here now, grab your stuff from your foster parent's house, and then go back to my room at WATCH? You can stay with me, if you want."
Kirlia doesn't mind leaving the tournament to help this little girl out. It would make things more fair for everyone else, anyways.
Waiting Room
I don't have anything. I'd... I'd like tolive with you. She's obviously trying to contain her excitement.
Can I come, uh, after the tournament?
Tournament Waiting Room
"Sure. Are you still going to be fighting in it? You could just sit up in the stands and watch...":smallconfused:
This little girl shouldn't be fighting in this thing!
Tournament Waiting Room
Eon may place himself next to Thelonious, the hare eared and footed old man. Thelonious is inspecting his fencing mask, making sure it's clean still in fine shape. It's been a while since he's fenced competitively, though he's still been practicing. He might greet Eon with a fond, "'Ello there lad. Entering for a bit of sport, wot?"
Tournament Waiting Room
Eon looks left and right. He can't se a Lad(y) around so he just shrugs at the man not understanding who he means.
Tournament Waiting Room
That's fine, if Eon doesn't want to talk, Thel can just keep on talking. "Quite the ol' maul you have there, young fella. Swinging a mallet that ferocious must take something impressive in terms of strength, eh? I've always preferred the precision of sword of the power of a great war weapon, but to each his own. Why I once knew an old Hedgehog who wielded a club he attached any of his broken spikes to..." And talking and talking and talking.
Tournament Waiting Room
The problem isn't Eon not speaking, it's more Eon's player doesn't understand the accent. Due to that his chars don't understand it as well so I avoide missunderstanding.
"Look, old man. I'm not your gandson or such. So whatever you talk about should be told to someone understanding you."
Tournament Waiting Room
(Oh, I thought it was just the char, not you too. Lad meant boy, btw. If I ever type in a way you don't understand, please let me know.)
Of course, Thelonious is taken back by the boy's rudeness. How will he react? More talking. Lecturing actually. "I say, you little rascal, when I was your age we treated our elders with a great deal more respect, whether or not they were our grandfather! I've half a mind to take you over my knee like I was your Grandfather, but I'll save it for the ring, you little villain! Oho, you better hope you don't face me in the first round. I'll send you crying back to the nursery!"
