Doesn't matter. People treat it as if the game had a unit that's a bear on a parachute. It doesn't, that's a result of another unit using its special ability on the bears. You could say that's a nitpick, but pet peeves don't have to be rational.

Assassin's Creed III has bears.

I believe someone already mentioned Earthbound and its nasty bear enemies. That someone neglected to mention the Teddy Bears, adorable ursine plushies that throw themselves in front of enemy attacks to protect you.

Icewind Dale, Icewind Dale II, and Neverwinter Nights 2. Also, Baldur's Gate II definitely does, and so does Morrowind (though only in the Bloodmoon expansion). Bears can also be found in Arcanum and Guild Wars.

Civilization IV has bears.

Daggerfall also had bears. A typical low-level quest for the Fighter's Guild would be to kill a bear that had wandered into somebody's house or shop.

... Also the game Black and White features bears as Creatures. A brown bear and a polar bear, to be exact.

The (free to play MMO) Age of Conan has bears. (And topless women as a bonus)

Lord of the Rings Online probably has bears too.
