I vote for 4!
Looks Like I might have some free time tonight (Snow day!) So get your votes in!
Edit: This is where I like to kick it up a notch by closing the voting and getting to work on a comic.
BAM [/emeril]
Status Report, Stardate 2 3 1 0 5 talames. That avatar request took awhile, I'm sleepy and tommorow looks busy until the evening. Hopefully I'll have somthing for you.
PS: Still under attack by cyborg mercenaries, death ray out of juice, switching to rockets.
Short comic for you guys.
Obligatory Godfather Reference
How should they respond?
1:Deal!
2: No Deal!
3:Only in exchange for the gun.
3 because the kobolds will probably try to "talk" them into taking out the gnome anyway.
3 for reasons stated last vote.
3. Otherwise, the new boss is gonna need to get some blood out of the carpet. And we all know how hard that is.[/New Yorker accent]
Or, if not, then I go with option 4.
What is 4? It's "BRC gets up and makes an ABR comic".
Who's a good communist? Who's a good communist? You are! Yes you are!
Okay. I'm done.
Eita that was somewhat disturbing...

3. Obvious choices are obvious. Give us some baby-eating paladins dammit
3.It is the best option.
I'll go with 1. & then take the gun anyway.
Woah, I got to work on the next comic and forgot to close the voting on this one.
Voting Closed!
Alright, It's Update Time! as promised, this time the choices are different than "Advance plot/ Don't advance plot"
Why are they wearing sunglasses?
How should Our Heroes assault the dwarves?
1: Frontal Assault! Kick down the door and start kicking ass.
2: Blast through the thin wall near the tunnel and start kicking ass.
3: Go around through that door near the back and start kicking ass.
4: Make a Diversion at the back door (Indicate who should make the diversion) while the rest of the team goes through the front.
5: Make a Diversion at the Front door (Indicate who should make the diversion) while the rest of the team goes through the Back.
6: Make a Diversion at the back door (Indicate who should make the diversion, Jack is needed to blast the wall) while the rest of the team blasts through the wall.
7: Make a Diversion at the Front door (Indicate who should make the diversion, Jack is needed to blast through wall) while the rest of the team blasts through the wall.
8: Attack all three ways at once! (AKA Operation Blayze)
7. Jack and Oscar blast through the wall and Rob and Greg charge through the front. (preferably with some protection from Jack first)
Nice comic and I like it that there are multiple choices.
5. Greg pretends to be a pizza delivery man whilst the rest of the gang goes round the back and brains the two dudes hanging out there.
Changing things alittle, feel free to keep describing your plans, but if one of the distraction plans gets picked I think I'll run a second round of voting to see who makes the distraction.
I pick Option 8. That is to say, Rob makes a distraction at the Front Door (Likely more heavily guarded than the back one), and Oscar makes a distraction at the BACK Door.
Meanwhile, Jack and Greg blast their way through the wall.
5. Diversion at Front, in through back. Given his proficiency with a wide range of magical effects, I think Jack should produce the diversion. Heck, a good illusion should do the trick.
2: I can't think of any tactics and the frontal assult is suicide.
8: Just to see how its done.
2 a distraction would only make them aware that there is a threat.
The idea of a distraction is that it draws the enemy forces to itself, leaving other areas with fewer if any men to guard. You're right about the alert though, any defences will certainly be active if they weren't already. But it could also be said that sneaking in and killing them, unless you're Solid Snake, could also alert them.
Hmm...I wonder if Jack has any more invisibility spells...
That's why the "Double diversion" plan is so great! A normal diversion will spread the enemy forces thin, but if you can DOUBLE the power of a normal one? Why, you've practically won.
Rob's got three to worry about, but he can easily hold the line there. Oscar only has two to take down. Meanwhile, Jack and Grey can nuke the three Rob's holding off in a pincer attack that will shame tacticians for centuries to come!
I added "Operation Blayze" to the possible choices.
You know, next time I'm doing a strategy question, I think i'll just let people offer options. All plans that have been seconded after a few days will make it onto the actual list.
New idea: Try to take out the guards in the back silently, then check what's behind the doors in the north hallway. Then take out the guard in the south hallway and start on the guards near the front. Afterwards, check out what's behind the double doors and through the tunnel.
I'll change me vote to #8 then. Same as Blayze's idea.
8)Operation blayze.
8. Blayze. No question.
