I'm waiting for DoomITP to post.

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Can you post for the Trissy scene? :smallconfused:

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
I would rather not skip one of the players involved in the scene that I perceive to be running parallel to that one.

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Deadtime now. Goodnight, sleep tight and don't let Orthrus bite. It's twice as painful.

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
TE: Your Inbox seems to be full. Anyway, finally got to that post for Inside though!

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
@TE: I have questions for you about the Fortress Mountain scene! Where do you want the scene to go from here? Would you like us to stalemate combat-wise or is this gonna be a crazy ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny thing? Also, is Day going to be okay? If not, Clarissa could resurrect him. Maybe even see if she can't land him a job at AMEN.
I really like Day as a character. He reminds me of Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory, and I loved that show.
Also, probable deadtime. Goodnight gang!

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Well, I don't really have a direction in mind for the scene. Could go any number of ways, from stalling out into a stalemate to Clarissa actually managing to get Riv. I don't particularly mind him dying. What is for sure is that she's well and truly kicked the ant hive. Between attacking Riv and doing what she did to his bodyguards, I'm not seeing her as a welcome guest at Excelsior ever again.
In any case, Day will be fine. I shudder to think of Riv getting his hands on Tarasque blood, but I'm pretty sure Day has some in him, to give you an idea of the kid's healing factor. Unless a god-level being takes serious interest in seeing him stay down or some adventurers go questing for some doodad or other to keep him dead, he won't.

Who's turn is it in the Sitar String 'Burn the Goblins' thing?
Oh and is there anything running I could throw my stone scorpion at? He is a member of remnant, but also needs someone to talk.

So um...

I think Earl and I need a post from you in Inside, in the Alleyway scene.

Have either of you replied to the man throwing his blade expertly at the Chrysalid?

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Alright, I replied!
Also, since Harnel is apparently letting a 9 year old girl fight in his tournament against adults with lethal weapons...Kirlia will unfortunately not be participating in the tournament anymore. :smallfrown:
It sucks, I was rather looking forward to the tournament =/
-
Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Harnel has said he has A Plan for that in online chat about it.
-
Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Seeing as that nothing was said IC for the people coming into the tournament, it doesn't quite matter if he has a plan. Due to Kirlia being Kirlia, and the fact that currently Kirlia has no knowledge of this plan either, it doesn't quite matter.
In fact, I'm rather surprised that none of the other people in the tournament are having any reaction towards a nine year old girl lining up with them while drawing knives.
-
Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Speaking of this tournament, is it still taking people? I'd meant to throw someone at it back when it first started (and expressed interest when Harnel asked about it before starting it), but a bunch of RL stuff came up then and I never got the chance to.
-
Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Harnel hasn't posted in quite a while. I really think you should wait for him to react IC or OoC one way or another before having your character leave.
-
Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Even if Kirlia leaves, is the tiefling girl still welcome at WATCH?
-
Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
As Morty mentioned, Harnel hasn't had a chance to post IC due to a combination of issues. So just up and leaving because you assume things isn't exactly fair.
-
Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Watch has two children currently. One is a dryad who was born from a tree on the grounds, and one is the nephew of a member. Terri, the dryad, would likely have been sent off to GLoG by now if she didn't need to stay by her tree. Unattended children whose lives do not depend on staying on the premises would almost certainly not be allowed to stay.

Kirlia doesn't mind leaving the tournament to help this little girl out. It would make things more fair for everyone else, anyways.

Consider this:
Had I had known that the tiefling girl was 9 from the beginning, as soon as Kirlia went in and saw that the girl was being allowed in she would have left immediately.
I will not further delay her leaving because it just wouldn't be quite IC for her to do so.
Not to mention that Harnel did indeed post for the tournament after the fact was revealed that the tiefling girl was 9. I for one wonder of Harnel was going to do something about it, why wasn't it done then?
And yes, the girl is still welcome to find Kirlia at WATCH. Kirlia does indeed need to talk to her and also Remnant. She can't exactly leave such a young girl in an abusive family environment.
-
Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
I said unattended children wouldn't be allowed to stay. If Kirlia becomes a foster or adoptive parent, then she can keep her child with her. But that doesn't make the child a Watchtower member.
... Assuming Kirlia is a Watchtower member. Is she? :smallconfused:

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
I think I'll take that as a no, or at least a "there are enough issues it's probably best not to get involved"... (Especially since, if there are people like Kirlia there, my character would have been blown away in the first round in any case.)
Also, Alexandrian, when are you planning on doing the stuff with Spec and Trium? Are you waiting for the scene in Elexxion to finish? (And are you up for continuing that scene with Despair and Toy?)

Becaue at the time Harnel-the-character was unaware of her age and it would have been using OOC knowledge therefore?

Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Kirlia is an initiative at WATCH. The mission she was supposed to go on to become a full fledged member kinda fell through.
However she does have her own room.
She figured by offering the girl to stay with her, she'd be able to get her out of her terrible family environment and keep her safe until she could get Remnant to intervene. She's not intending to adopt the girl, but would rather look after her until Remnant could do something.
C'nor: I wasn't planning on letting Kirlia go crazy. She wouldn't find it a fair fight at all! Which would end up with it not being fun whatsoever. :smalltongue:
-
Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
Depending on Harnel's Plan, maybe she can still be in the Tournament.
-
Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
I think we can safely skip Horngeek in outside now, he haven't posted for quite long now. Otherwise I will have to post again to make sure the plot doesn't die.
-
Re: [Nexus] OoC 34: If it exists, we have role-played it. No exceptions.
If she's just keeping the girl for a short period, then it'd probably just fall under the category of a guest. Kirlia would be expected to be responsible for her while she was there though.
