What about Puppies, Ice Cream, Tom Hanks, and Stephen Colbert? Awesomesauce.
I do like kitties though. Puppies and kitties are two equal opposites, like an Unstoppable Force and an Immovable Object, or Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee. If they were to have a cute-off, the Earth would implode.

Plus they scratch stuff up, eat your food on counters, are antisocial, and cause allergic reactions with a great number of people in nations with good healthcare.
Cats suck.
And of course dogs care in the slightest. Yeah, whatever. :smallamused:
And you're saying dogs do none of those things, plus bite, spread rabies, and crap all over the floor? They're cats worse times 20 plus huge enthusiasm! While a cat's noncaring makes it destroy stuff only for gain, a dog's enthusiasm will cause it to destroy stuff 100% of the fricken time!
Cats might suck, but dogs suck more.

Of course dogs have nothing against cats. Dogs chase things that run and cats run from things that chase. :smalltongue: I was comparing the opposite cuteness of Puppies and Kittens.

Don't worry. We just have to use some negative-cuteness to bring him back.
That should do it. :smallwink:

How are cats more badass than dogs?
I mean, ok, there are some badass cats I guess. But there are more badass dogs.

Cats can be pretty badass, though. Especially when open the fridge on their own and they stratch people I hate.
Those guys suck. :smallyuk:

Do I sound sane (-or badass) enough to care? Also cats are like natures loner-like anti-heroes (and I read way too many comics) while dogs are the gentle giant.

Also: Yes, dogs do do none of that. Sure, they do need to be potty trained, but that's about it. Dogs feel attachment to owners. Dogs will actually play with you (not just petting and scratching), and, although they're slightly obnoxious when they bark, it's hilarious; mine is 15 pounds, and she always tries to pick fights with dogs ten times her size.
Q: I have a dog, and I've never had a cat, and I've been bitten by cats at least ten times as much as I've been bitten by dogs. Plus, unless you pick them up off the street, there's no chance they have rabies; if you do, there's a very slim chance.
Dogs can ask for food or to go outside; cats will instead go ahead and steal food from your cupboards/counters, as they can climb on stuff.
Vampire: My dog is much cuter than that. Her ears are at least four times as big, her eyes are twice as big, her snout is a more baby-like proportion (as opposed to scrunched), and she's almost nine years old. That kitty looks ugly. I feel sorry for it.
Rand: I approve.
Also, trump card: dogs are fun to be licked by. When cats lick you, it feels like gravel is being scratched across your hand or face.
EDIT:
Badass dog.
'Badass Cat' typed into Google Images... WTF...
Seriously, the cat looks like it's confused. I bet the poor thing got glued there... And that dog has some issues, though not nearly as many as that abused cat.

Cats are far better than dogs.
However, penguins are better than both of them combined. :smallamused:

Perhaps not your dog, just like my cat has never done any of the stuff you mentined.
And just because a dog plays with you doesn't mean he's doing it for your enjoyment. Dogs don't care about humans just as much as cats don't. They're just more active.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
While I like cats, if I had the choice between either a dog or a cat as a pet. I'd take the dog. Probably a Great Dane, maybe a German Shepherd. Because they're awesome. A cat may be fun when it's a kitten, but they tend to become too.. unpredictable when they grow up. You might have a cat that'll want to spend every waking moment with you. Or you'll get a little beast that'll claw you to shreds if you come within 10 feet of it. If you put the same amount of effort into raising a dog, and you don't do any stupid things. Then you'll invariably have a loyal friend. Such is my experience anyways.*
In terms of practicality, a dog will protect it's home and "family" should it have to. A cat is going to sit in a corner, and hiss a bit. Maybe it'll go look for some food afterwards.

*Just my opinion though, for the record I've had 2 cats and 5 dogs. The folks used to run a kennel ya know. :smalltongue:
(Disclaimer: as the unofficial countess of catgirls, I feel it necessary to state that I like cats. I just wouldn't want any more as pets. ;P)
