Issue with text colors

Something I've noticed lately. If you click on the arrow by the text color icon on the formatting bar, and select a color from there...

It gives you something like this: RoyalBlue.

...it works perfectly. But if you just click on the "A" with a color bar under it, it gives you this...

[COLOR="rgb(65, 105, 225)"]RoyalBlue.[/COLOR]

What up with that?

This happens with Chrome, Safari, and Opera. It's been a known issue for a few years now.
