[MtG] GitP Regulars as Magic the Gathering Cards
Heya guys! This has been a long time coming, so I decided to make it a reality.
This is how these threads work: You give your permission for people to make cards based on you. In return, you make cards based on them. Make a card using any number of methods, included websites or even doing them by hand if you are feeling adventurous, and post them here with a short description of how you came up with it.
Here is a thread full of standing permissions. Please PM the user if you make an article on them!

Example time!

I decided to make a paladin type card for Loyalpaladin. This creature loyally protects another creature by pairing itself with the Soulbound mechanic. Vigilance is an obvious choice for a defensive class like paladin.

Thanks, SB. That's pretty awesome!

Of course, with all the cool new Innistrad stuff about and my status as the master of curses, well, who knows what might happen...

So I was wondering who would make a newer, better phoenix? The Izzet of course! The return to hand ability is common on phoenixes, so I made one that fit with the combo casting U/R. Prowess fits in with the same concept, so I put that in as well. Phoe always did seem like more a sorcerer to me anyway.

Re: [MtG] GitP Regulars as Magic the Gathering Cards
Wait. This is actually a thing. I thought you were kidding about this. :smalltongue:
Anyways, I have a half-decent idea for our local embodiment of Law and Evil, but I'm not exactly sure how to go about making a card myself...

Xuldy lieks his madness and crazy stuff, so I thought I'd make a card that has synergies with the Madness mechanic.

Re: [MtG] GitP Regulars as Magic the Gathering Cards
permission to turn me into card is granted my dear plane walking friends
-
Re: [MtG] GitP Regulars as Magic the Gathering Cards
Im happy for this and would love to see what card would be made for me. That goes without saying though, I think..
Also, will we see other threads diverging from GitP Regulars as (something relevant to D&D/Pathfinder)?
Edit: ...Wow, there is one already. I should have posted faster or waited a moment. It suits me well. I've run black in the past anyways.

Re: [MtG] GitP Regulars as Magic the Gathering Cards
I think I might join the silliness that is this; consider me having given my permission

I am in like FLYNN! Card me bros!

Re: [MtG] GitP Regulars as Magic the Gathering Cards
You can do me as well - I only play Mill* decks, so that'd be welcome.
*Or "I hope you have everything you need to win in your opening hand" decks. But that's less of a catchy name.
Also Keening Stone is love, Keening Stone is life.

I'm actually planning cards for you and Keledrath based on the Fight mechanic.

Now, this wasn't the original design for the card, but as I worked, I thought this worked better than my original design. Hope you like it, Red!

I think your mechanic might be a bit messed up. The ETB portion has no target or subject. I think his damage ability is undercosted and a bit OP with his main effect, and only for 5 drop to boot. It's like Olivia Voldaren for have of the ability cost.

X is standing for 2 values on the dragon, too. It could just be XRR: Deal X damage to target creature.

My bad. It should be a target creature when it ETB. :smallannoyed:

Hi! I don't know anything about MtG, but I like the way the cards look so, if anyone wants to card me, you may.

I'll go make an amendment. I totally forgot about that. I'm a little rusty, no one wants to play with me anymore. :smallfrown:

Not sure how well I costed the card, but I think it works well. There wasn't space for the flavor text on the card, so I'll add it below:
"But why is she blonde?"

Oh, that is glorious. The name, the effect, the sheer, overwhelming power-

Wait, are you seriously complaining that the card modeled after me is overpowered? I mean, have you met me?
The card doesn't say, "When you play this card, all other players swear an oath of eternal fealty to you and forfeit the game." It is therefore, if anything, underpowered!

Megamorph for the blood pool is clever as hell. I like it.
