shhh, Aldran... his name is Robe Guy, allright? :smalltongue:
New comic!
Issue 43: It's Called Phasmophobia
First response!
Okay, having now actually read the comic, I can certainly say it'll be a curious adventure indeed to have a ghost afraid of meeting a ghost in a dark place. Especially since he's travelling with another ghost.
Hilarious!
This keeps getting better and better.
Heeheehee
I love this comic
He doesn't seem to mind meeting other ghosts in the light. :smallamused:
Yeah, but Frank is about as scary as dry toast.
Dry toast is horrifying. :smalltongue:
Could Frank have Autophasmiphobia?
LOL!!!
Well, actually, I didn't It's a good thing, too.
Thank you for your awesome, Zarah!
Very funny!
But now, how to draw a comic that takes place in the dark?
Great comic!
I hope this dosen't mean Frank leaves the party. I like Frank. He carries an axe which I've never actually seen him use.
I had to go about five days without a computer. Normally, this would be okay, except I kept thinking, "Oh my god, I'm missing so many Anti-Heroes strips."
Do we know what program Zarah uses to make these? I'm curious.
InkScape, the same as Burlew himself and most of the better artists around here.
I thought the Giant used Illustrator?
Nice one, love the humor!
Actually, I've never even touched InkScape. :smalltongue:
Yes, Rich uses Adobe Illustrator, and I do too. Well, mostly. I draw everything in Illustrator, then compose the comics themselves in Photoshop, since Illustrator won't let me save the files as PNGs. And because I prefer the way some things are set up in Photoshop than they are in Illustrator.
Huh, must be a blue moon out tonight.
Oh well, I personally prefer InkScape and if you're good enough with it you can equal or even surpass the work Burlew produces with Illustrator (Not trying to insult him, and not naming anyon). Plus, it's free! If a touch temperamental, I'll admit.
Odds are it's just a betting pool on the success of a Bluff check. Still hilarious, of course, but I'm a bit too cynical to believe them.
What is the difference between Inkscape and Illustrator, and .gifs and .pngs anyways? Does it really make a difference? Will it affect the quality of my work? And why am I asking all these questions? The answers will never be revealed, because not even I know the answers!
How can a ghost be afraid of the dark and others of its kind? Ghosts are supposed to like dark places!
Huh, who'd of thought that a ghost could be afraid of the dark.
Hmm, I see... apparently, it would be a better choice for exporting on these forums.
I'd just like to say that this is a really great comic, certainly on par with most other comics which have their own sites, etc, that I like enough to add to my list of regulars. ie, it is as or more professional, regular, and hilariously awesome as all of the best of the other comics I have read.
Keep it up!
