OOC HALT
-- Initiative Order --
Vitits: 34 (+14)
Pitfiend: 32 (+12)
Shiver: 31 (16)
Stanleyindraven: 26 (+10)
Melk: 26 (+9)
Hazzardevil: 26 (+7)
The Stone: 25 (+14)
Shake: 18 (+14)
Dragon: 12 (+0)
I'm a bit tired of everyone doing what they want whenever, so here is the initiative so far. I apologize for using your profile name than your character as I forget character's names easily if their names are hardly posted as reminders.

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
A valid point, but everyone gets a surprise round action currently. So if you haven't taken it, now would be the time.
-
Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Seeing that we got a surprise round was why I and Debbie posted
-
Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Melk
Melk will continue to wait things out as he wonders why a massive dragon and a large demonic looking creature would be fighting here at all. Seems very suspicious.
Though he is still readying to rage if fire attacks are thrown around...
Spoiler
Show
Okay, but I could have sworn I'd seen at least 1 person post two actions... Well, at least the Initiative order is up for everyone to see!
-
Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Assuming everyone has taken their surprise round actions...
That puts it at Vitis' turn.
-
Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Vitis Fires again at the pit fiend, before Flying back a good distance
Spoiler
Show
Using Improv to boost attack roll, firing again.
[roll0] Vs FF touch AC
18 Dex damage to demon/devil thing, and 9 to the dragon.

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Spoiler
Show
pit fiend followed by scrag is up

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Spoiler
Show
But shouldn't the massive Dex damage lower his Init bonus?
-
Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Spoiler
Show
I'm fairly certain the massive dex damage paralyzes them both
-
Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
*Face Palm* :smallannoyed: Well... the dragon is at -8 dex and the Pitfiend is at -2... they are both paralyzed... Also, they both have enough health that if someone hit them they would die, they are immobilized so you auto hit... meaning this fight is over, and you gain adequate XP to lvl up.

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
SHIVER, SHAKE
Both Shiver and Shake take massive blows at the neck of the dragon, severing its head from its body.
Stupid fire breathing beast, thats what playing with fire gets you
She looks around for a moment
I believe someone said something about the dragon having treasure?

John looks up from his map... Well... that, that was fast... umm... yeah, the treasure... it's somewhere in here. john walks over to a massive rock, and flips it over... the rock surprisingly was in fact hollow, there is a massive pile of coins. There is approximately 1500000 gp there.
You are very powerful... I suppose I can tell you a little bit about myself, I am the lord who presides over Atilersberg.

Sgrag snorts and searches the demon.

You find a scroll of summon monster IX (Demons only), a staff of cure serious wounds with 10 charges, and a massive hammer that is spiked on on side (If licked the spiked side tastes of a celestial creatures blood, know (the planes) if you lick it and want to know what it came from.).

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
The Stone waits patiently, as Sgrag searches the devil's body. Well aware that the creatures fiery eyes watch their every move. When Sgrag is finished, The Stone moves forward.
"When you get back to hell, remember The Stone sent you!" he taunts, and decapitates the creature.
-
Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
"Here is what the demon had," Sgrag says as he tosses the items on the cave floor.

John looks at The Stone. You are aware that it will find you and kill you, aren't you?

"Because it did such a good job of killing him this time."
Responds vitis, already directing his golem workers to prepare for more production.

Yes, it did...

SHAKE
The heat of that dragons body damaged both me and my sister. Does someone possess the ability to use that wand, and if so, can they use on me and her?

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
"The gebroni can try. The Stone fears nothing... The Stone was just getting warmed up when the miniature Giant kobold crippled them both."

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Melk
"Hey coin guy, do you know why those two beasts were at each others throats before my companion's unceremoniously curb-stomped them?"
Melk directs his question at John(?) and as the others start gathering the loot. Or more like the robots start gathering the loot.

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
I only knew the dragon was here... I haven't a clue why there was a Pitfiend here though, if your friend hadn't killed it with out thinking... we could have gotten some answers.

"It happens, that's why I'm known as the pacifist of the group; due to the fact that everything's usually dead before I have a chance at it."
Melk starts laughing at his own joke, though it was actually quite accurate.
"...Well, besides the Pitfiend(?), what's your deal with the silly dragon?"

Dragons been terrorizing the parts around here for sometime now, myself and the leaders of a few other cities around here got together to find someone to get rid of the dragon... I was the only volunteer.

Melk
"And your plan was to look like a pile of gold? I don't think dragons are big on shiny treasure, they are but simple animals. And besides, what was your out if the dragon decided he's want to liquify the gold for easy storage, considering it was a fire dragon and all?"
Melk is suspicious of John, is the same way one is suspicious of a flamboyant gentleman in a dark tavern that no-one seems to bother.

"The stone is sorry, he didn't realize you wanted to play tea party with the Devil Lord. You should have said you wanted to listen to his pack of lies as he tries to steal your soul. But if you really want to listen to a pack of lies from a creature that is contemplating killing you as soon as it gets the chance, the stone can help!"
"The Stone can tell you're a intelligent lord, because going into a dragon's lair disguised as coins is a smart plan. Also, you seem completely trustworthy, because your name is 'John'. Not having a last name is not suspicious. Nor is simply explaining why you desire the dragon dead before it died when you allegedly had a good reason. The Stone likes you, and wants to be your friend. That's why the Stone keeps looking at you and cracking his knuckles, it's how Ogres signify friend."
"Feel better? The stone is glad he could help. Drat, the Stone is still doing it...."
"Anyway Gebroni, notice the landscape. This cavern's landscape clearly matches that of the nine hells better. There's clearly some sort of planar rift or something going on. That's why there was a pit fiend. Dragons are territorial. Pit fiends are threats to dragons. So a pit fiend in a dragon's liar is a recipe for a fight. Mystery solved."
The stone pulls out a Cigar and lights it on the lava. He offers one to Vitris, ironically because it's almost as big as his arm.
"Honestly, the Stone would rather listen to the lies of a dragon. Lets animate it and awaken it. It's big enough it would make a good taxi."
The Stone then turns towards the invisible dragon and seems to be listening to something no one can hear. He nods a few times.
"Scratch that. The Stone feels that would be disrespectful to dragons of all colors."
-
Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
"So the pressing question is kill the human or let him go. We have our own business to attend to. A dragon is not likely to only have some gold," Sgrag says as he starts searching the scaled corpse.

Is it really? John proceeds to sit down on a rock to think about being "friends" with an ogre All of the things that you say sound quite reasonable.

Kill me if you must... I will not try to stop you.
On the dragon you find a series of rings on its tail, and Bracers on its fore limbs... I'm going to assume you search all of the dragon, including its GI tract, in which you find 6000gp and 60 jewels... apparently he was hungry...:smallamused:
