Dilaa nods. "I see. I guess I thought Garmine was more different from most of Khorvaire than it actually is," she says. "Though I find myself on expeditions more than not, so I doubt I know it all that well," she continues, then pauses. "Oh - you aren't one of those who dislike weapons, are you?"
"Would you be able to give a good description of her location? Preferably, a single spot there. It would make visiting her much easier.", Shaisane replies, if these women can't help Wotcher, she will have to look elsewhere. She can't allow Wotcher to suffer. Or anyone for that matter.
Tulip looks confused, but after a moment, she nods.
"I could draw a picture! That way, you'll know Dahlia's garden is a nice place!"
"Could you do that? That would be really helpful, then we can go there to ask for this Dahlia's assistance."
Tulip starts looking around, but soon realizes that there's a critical flaw in this plan, and she returns to Shaisane, landing on her shoulder, looking at Shaisane, and looking sad herself.
"There isn't anything I can draw with here! Maybe you have something?"

I wanted to say something regarding Tulip's socked feet, and Shaisane's bare shoulder, but I don't know if Shaisane's shoulders are bare.
"Could you perhaps show it in another way? Magic runs strong in your kind, and I was told that there are those who can show the most wonderful of visions.", Shaisane replies. She hates being touched, but it's a price worth paying to help the poor Wotcher.
Spoiler: OOCShaisane's shoulders are covered, she doesn't feel nearly confident enough to not cover them. And that is aside from her usual illusions.
Tulip smiles happily at Shaisane's suggestion.
"Ok! I can do that! See!"
After a moment, and a short chant, with some explanatory gestures, an illusion appears all around the group, looking exactly like Dahlia's garden, as Tulip had last seen it, with the lovely flowers, the wonderful trees, and the cavern it was in, all created in perfect detail. At least, as Tulip remembers it. The colors are extremely vibrant, and it somehow conveys the sense of being bigger than it is. In fact, the sound of the water flowing, and a gentle breeze are audible, and the air feels slightly cooler.
"Her garden's really nice!"

"Only in the hands of those who don't need them." Sister Tine answers matter-of-factly.

Lileia and Dew sit to the side, barely participating in the conversation for the most part, until Dahlia is brought up as a serious option. "That's the name of The Alchemist, as I understand it." The slender elf comments. "She works under commission; that is to say, if you have something specific you'd like made, she could create it for you. I'm not certain whether she could diagnose something herself."
Tulip smiles merrily, the illusion of Dahlia's garden still filling the room(Or at least 13 10 foot squares of it), before she responds.
"She's really clever, and nice, and we know what's wrong, right? So she could just make a cure!"
"Is there anyone you could recommend?", the elf asks, feeling her hope slipping away.
At Shaisane's question, Tulip looks downcast, but then, after a moment, she brightens.
"Maybe Mei! She helped Dahlia!"
"Mei? Who would this be, and where could we find her?", some hope returns, but Shaisane doesn't really dare to hope. She doesn't like the petal, but she can bear it. Even if somewhere, deep inside, she finds that she actually does care for the little creature.
Tulip continues to smile happily, still standing on Shaisane's shoulder.
"She's a priestess, and she's really nice! I think we can find her at a temple! But... I'm not sure which one."
"And would you know which power she offers her prayers to?", Shaisane asked. She didn't like priests, or clergy in general. They were based on a more primitive understanding of the world, relying on divinity and tradition, instead of reason and cold logic. She loved logic, it was the only thing making sense in the whole world.
Tulip looks rather sheepish.
"Um... I was too busy saying hi to remember! But I know it was someone!"
"Could you maybe describe her? Or better yet, show an image of her? Perhaps she bears symbols that could be used to identify to which grouping she belongs.", Shaisane reasons, desperate for a lead.
Tulip nods.
"I can! See!"
Another moment later, and an image of Mei appears, complete with her white robe.
"She's really nice! I'm sure she'll help, if she can!"
Shaisane carefully examines the illusion of Mei, for any sort of symbol that she can place.

It takes all of two seconds for Shaisane to identify Mei as an adherent of Ilmater, from the red cords wrapped around her forearms.
"Ilmater.", Shaisane states, "would any of you know where the temple to the Crying God could be found?"
Tulip, revealing her incredible knowledge of religion, looks surprised.
"There's a crying god? Maybe we could cheer him up, so he doesn't cry anymore because he's happy!"
Shaisane suppresses a sigh. "The Faith of Ilmater claims that he cries because of all the suffering there is in the world, and he will only stop if there is no more suffering and pain. Which unfortunately is rather hard to achieve. But every good deed makes him slightly happier, while every bad and selfish one makes him cry more."
Tulip looks somewhat baffled at Shaisane's explanation.
"But... that's really silly! Making yourself suffer because people are mean only helps the meanies be meaner! It's much better to just be nice, so you can show them that being nice is much more fun!"
"Yes, but gods are silly creatures. Very silly even. And it's not making himself suffer, the evil simply makes him sad.", Shaisane tries to explain. Why can't the petal ask about simple things, like impersonal metaphysics. Those are much more interesting.
Tulip nods as Shaisane speaks.
"If they're all like that, they are! But being sad is suffering, because being sad isn't any fun at all! It even makes fun things not fun!"
Dew clears her throat and fixes Shaisane with a somewhat firm stare.
"That is true, but when you for instance see someone in pain, and you can't help, you too would be sad, wouldn't you agree?"
Tulip shakes her head firmly as she refutes Shaisane's argument, looking quite determined.
"If I can see them, I could help, and because I was helping, I wouldn't be sad because I couldn't help them!"
"But what if you were incapable of helping? Hypothetically of course. And you could only see it happen. You couldn't do anything. Wouldn't such a thing greatly sadden you?", Shaisane tries again, not really understanding Tulip.
Tulip shakes her head once more.
"I can always try to help! A really mean person might try to make it so I couldn't, but then I can persuade them to be nice, and help too!"
Tulip, it seems, doesn't really understand hypothetical arguments.
