The Return of Fuzzy Knights!
Wow... I wonder if anyone here will even remember this one?
Um, okay. So... Hi!
Way back in the early 2000s, when Order of the Stick was just starting out, I also had a roleplaying themed webcomic called Fuzzy Knights.
That went on for five years or so, and I had a blast doing it. It was like setting up a stop motion movie every week. But I was never happy with the quality for a variety of reasons. Camera, lighting, terrible Photoshop skills...
However, last year, I decided to learn how to draw on a tablet and use Photoshop, and I was happy enough with the results that I decided to give Fuzzy Knights another shot... both as a bi-weekly ongoing story, and weekly one-shot panels like this:

(Oh, and I'm also an author too... just released a couple of science fiction novels this year which take place in the same universe as the Fuzzy Knights roleplaying campaign! ;) )
(oh and in case you're curious, the original was quite a bit different because, well, it looked like this:)

Re: The Return of Fuzzy Knights!
Huge fan of Fuzzy Knights back in the day. Can confirm the new version is just as adorable.
Re: The Return of Fuzzy Knights!
I might as well mention that Fuzzy Knights is appearing on several platforms (in case you already visit them for other reasons)
Tapas: https://tapas.io/series/FuzzyKnights/info
Webtoons: https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/f...itle_no=865914
Comic Fury: https://fuzzyknights.thecomicseries.com/
Though the Comic Fury version I mirror onto my own website for everyone's convenience :) : https://www.noahchinnbooks.com/fuzzyknights/
The schedule for the long for storyline is every other week, while I put up short One Shots once a week. Speaking of which....

Re: The Return of Fuzzy Knights!
Okay, this is amusing. Watching Ben get mauled by a ferret is never getting old.
Congrats on making the switch from photos to drawing. The full body drawing of the girl looks a little weird, but everything looks good at the table. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! Hopefully in time I'll get better at drawing Rebecca (especially hands... I hate drawing hands), but at the same time I want to keep things simple. :)
Re: The Return of Fuzzy Knights!
Aside from the One Shots (like this one below) I also have ongoing strips with a longer storyline. :)

Re: The Return of Fuzzy Knights!
The latest comic has a more in-depth info dump than I expected to get before the denouement of the current arc; I was expecting this information to get doled out in dribs and drabs over the next 5 or 6 comics. I'm hoping this goes well.
Re: The Return of Fuzzy Knights!
You know, even with speeds near 1000c, space is still big.

This is the second greatest news I have heard this year!

Hope you enjoy them! If you do, please leave a review and become my willing minion, converting all the unbelievers and...
What? Did I say the quiet part out loud again?
Re: The Return of Fuzzy Knights!
Thanks for posting the thread, I remember reading this in Knights of the Dinner Table and picked it back up. I like it!

Thanks! Glad you like the new format! Do you know any other former Fuzzy Knight fans?
Re: The Return of Fuzzy Knights!
I actually do think the party is being unfair to Chaude. He doesn't meta game here and they act like he is the bad guy? If they actually mentioned Rebecca was still on the ship that would have been different, but even the GM agreed that he was right that his character had no idea Rebecca was even in danger.

Yes, and i think it is great writing. People go into the game to feel, and feelings do not stop at the Edge of the Gaming Table. This is a prime Example of the effect of "Bleeding", which is defined as feelings from the player affecting the character (decisions), and feelings from the Character affecting Player behaviour.

I reckon you're both right ;)
The thing is, during a game in and out of character knowledge is sometimes not easy to track.
And on top of that, it could be argued that a player can work around it easily enough. Let's say it was Violet instead of Ben. She knows Rebecca is on the dreadnought, but not in character. However, it would be very much in character for her to comm the ship and ask "Is everyone safe on board the Tergiversator?" Ben, being Ben, was focused on the loot.
It could be argued that he knew he COULD ask such a question, but the answer would make things... complicated ;)
(Honestly, I don't think Ben has that level of forethought. The rabbit has ADHD for sure.)
