What is it?
A community tool containing Order of the Stick style MINIS that can be used for your digital and physical campaigns.
We want art!
We now have over 100 monster minis wonderfully crafted and posted by fellow GitP forumites! But that's only the beginning. We're always looking to add to the collection. Do you have an awesome avatar or monster that you've drawn up? Please share your hard work with the community and let others share in your awesome art. (And don't worry, we absolutely make sure credit is given to each and every image submitted.)
MINIS!
Please see the next post for our art gallery as well as links to download either a ZIP folder containing the digital images for use on the PC, or PDFs of Print & Play ready pages like the one shown below to use in your tabletop games.

I'm assuming the 4th is a dryad
The two before the flumph near the end
The last one
Re: The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
If I recall correctly, the white woman is a Yuki-onna from Japanese mythology.
Also, I'm interested in helping you with this, but I'm pretty sure I'd only be of much use when it comes to making avatars of human-like monsters (for instance, succubi, nymphs, pixies, angels, et cetera). If you've got anything along those lines that needs making, though, I might be able to give it a shot.

Thanks, I'm trying to name things properly. I would love your help and I'm taking any and all monsters people want to make. Feel free to whip some up and post them here, link them, or PM them to me and I'll add them up at the top. If you prefer, I'll even take human "monsters". Things like bandits, rogues, etc I feel like would be useful in a wide variety of campaigns.

Oh, then I can definitely help you! I've already got a decent number of humans made that might fit the bill. Here's a few NPCs for starters to see if you like them:
I'm currently making a few PC character tokens for my own use, but they might be a little flashy for the purposes of representing generic enemies.

Those will work nicely, thanks Rainy Knight! What do you mean by "flashy"? Are they just really specific to your players' descriptions?

Um... I guess I just mean that instead of trying to make them look more "generic" by keeping the faces and details simple and the design fairly standard, I tried to make them more "unique" by trying to give them personality and distinguishing details. It probably doesn't really matter, so I'll stop being silly and just post them.

Those look awesome, Rainy Knight! I've put all 9 of your images up under the Human section. Thanks again!

Ah, great, thank you Akrim.elf! I added a Ragnarok Online section now to better sort them. I saw that you added a few more creations to your "monster" gallery. What are the new first two called? The eyeball with wings and what appears to be a lightbulb?
Re: The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
Since I assume you'll be wanting a demons/fiends section at some point, allow me get the ball rolling with some sexy succubus goodness chaotic evilness. :smallwink:

Re: The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
Hmm...several of the ones you have are avatars people have requested. Are you getting permission from the person who requested the avatar as well as the artist? I know I'd feel weird if I asked for an avatar of [x] and then found people using my [x] as an in-game token.

i know, for this reason i little rearange avatars, so here is little diference...
but if it is not enough, I am willing to withdraw the old avatars and redo them over to never feel bad
but in older avatars will be harder to find people because I do not remember their nicknames
Re: The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
Thanks for the awesome submissions Akrim.elf and A Rainy Knight. I really appreciate it! I'm going to hopefully continue to build the collection with the community's help.
Savannah, while I feel that the art created by the artists is 100% under their control, you're correct, some people probably wouldn't want their specificly requested avatars used by other people. While I wouldn't personally mind at all, I obviously can't speak for others. To that end I've PM'd a user regarding their avatar to see if they'd mind me using it and for now I've hidden it until I get a response.
Re: The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
Hey,
I have a couple of images of some monsters... feel free to use any of them.
~TR
PS: if anyone is using any of these images as avatars i apologise, i've been away from the forums for a while
Re: The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
Wow, Tomb_Raven, those are awesome and that black dragon is incredible! I'll definitely add them. If you could split up the umber hulk and neogi image into individuals and the belkar and fairy dragon into individuals that would be helpful. Thanks again!
Re: The OotS-Style Monster Manual Art Project
Ill see what i can do ;)

Edit:

Couldn't Split up the Neogi and Umberhulks... might have a go at redrawing them
