Not much around here is normal. But the shots do penetrate the table pretty well. They don't find anything, though. While Tier was shooting at an already downed target, Hunter activates her transporter and disappears, popping up somewhere behind Tier, swinging that sword at his side. Enchanted volcanic glass, although he probably has little unnatural about him for it to take, and only has to worry about it being very sharp.
Pterodactyls flop around on the ground.
The feline monster leaps towards Tier from its spot, biting one-two-three at his left arm.
Outside, a town hunter's on his way. There's really just one unusual rule here: no swinging, firing, or otherwise using your weapons. That goes double for randomly shooting up the street aiming at something that only you managed to see yet. Another's been sent up the great tree, to get a bird's eye view of the commotion, and with enough armament to put a stop to it.
Tier takes the hit to the head, but the attack is absorbed by his helmet and it just makes him angry. He turns around with the monster on his arm and swings his fist in the same motion. If the punch is successful, the punch is strong enough to go through the head of an adult human through a ballistic helmet.
Well... begin unconscious is not condusive to any sort of dodging; and his orange, red, and yellow outfit is not armor... so Mel is shot several times.
A reasonably large marker appears above him, saying "Bleeding Out..." in bold red text, followed by a counter which currently reads 5.
The black cat flops over amid the rubble under the storm of bullets.
The monster swings about on his arm, scrambling with its claws, holding on with two sets of jaws while biting with the last.
Hunter ducks, the powerful punch going just over her head, and leaving her not in any position to mount a counterattack; she merely steps backwards over the rubble.
A pale blue blast of energy streaks along the street, aimed at the ground near Johnson's feet.
"You should put the guns down before you get yourself hurt."
Looking back in the direction of the bolt and the sound of the voice shows a faint distortion in the air.
Up in the town center, binoculars are applied to eyes and trained on the scene.
