Looks like things have just taken a

Shocking turn

Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
See, this would have been a perfect time for the indicator dials on Franz's head to go from "Empty" to "Full", but I'm pretty sure they've been "Full" all along...

It looks like it - but hey, they went from yellow to blue, that's something ;)

I think they've been more at the halfway point. Now it looks like they've moved to the right...

Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
ZAP! That'll wake you up in the morning!
-
Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
Makes perfect sense! Remember that Agatha had experience with Adam and Lilith. That type of construct requires an electrical generator for re-invigoration. If she intuited that Heir Franz was constructed on similar technology...
Now, I wonder what it would do for our favorite example of so recently sentient architecture. (C'mon! One good zap right in his flying buttresses!)

Doesn't really look like it - compare today's page with these two.

I hear the Popeye theme.
Does anyone else hear the Popeye theme?

Until his arms inflate and he turns into an rocket ship-No.

Blissfully no. Considering Franz is a classy chap, I'd rather put the choral crescendo form Ode to Joy (starts around 0:50) as the background music.

Switching quickly to Let The Bodies Hit The Floor if Franz does an inevitable leap into the air while yelling as he lunges for don dragxote

Ooh. I've just found out what I'm going to play the next time my spark character is going into fugue.

I wouldn't try to jump on anyone wielding pointy objects (a sword in this instance). I expect either a bullrush or a classic beating. Apart from that, I'm not a big fan of the song, but that's subjective.

Mozart's Dies Irae might have a similar (if darker) tone. I'm not that keen on choral music, but it simply has to be powerful or bombastic, there are loads of masterpieces to pick from.

Im not either too be honest, but it DOES fit in well with the general theme of ass kickery that happens very often in all sorts of areas.

Nah, not quite. I tried that once, but it's too dark. It lacks the mad glee.

Looks like Agatha is wondering the same thing. But will it get it in time?

The middle panel with the castle looks really nice.

Oh good. She finally thought of it. DXD

The question now is: will she scream "Alive! He's alive!" when the Castle shows signs of improvement? Because it's a terrible cliche, but liked aged cheese, even if it smells like it has been dead for a decade, it would be missed if its not there.
An amusing thought occurs to me. If this works, the Castle would request the ability to zap himself (just like he controls the gas lines and everything else), which means it could potentially use thunder to provide background weather punctuation for portentous declarations. Oh, what fun he shall have.

Wait, you expect Agatha to turn the dial labeled "high drama" up?

Hers, yes. I'm afraid that the Kestle's dial is likely under his control, and even if she dials it down, it won't stay there long.

Good thing you linked that comic. It has some foreshadowing to current events. "And when I have the whole castle running, the Baron will have to talk to me." Castle repaired. Klaus wants to talk. Things are becoming interesing.

That is not what I expected. :smalleek::smallamused:
I really liked the Dragon's comment about them, though:
"Don't be insulting, they're knights!"
Spoken like a true dragon.

... Of Jove, I'm guessing? I'm not sure about the livery but that LOOKS like it might be the same fleur de lee from Anevka (mk1)s forehead.

If so, we could have a very interestingly confused setup here. Too bad we wont learn more till freaking MONDAY!

Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
Now whose side these clanks are on?
-
Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
Now the changing size is becoming annoying!
Are they Godzilla sized? or they half the size of a tower?
-
Re: Girl Genius XIII: "Gott's Leedle Feesh in Trousers!"
I think the fleur de lis is a Valois/Storm King symbol. Or Van Rijn
See Otilia, for example

You know they just might be on the Storm Kings side. It IS his mark they are wearing. But they seem pro Agatha as well at this point. Of course who would be able to get some old Storm King clanks (They could be piloted clanks) to Mechanicsburgh and have them *not* be against Agatha?

A pair of the Storm King's clanks? Remember two of the Muses who know who Tarvek is and are totaly unaccounted for. And both of them seem to like Agatha.
