Thank you for that. I'll try and obtain a few more with riding crops for you in the future :smalltongue:

Actually not as useless as you might think, the half tail was used to hide a knife / dagger sheath on the thigh. Also they looked cool and fashionable.

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
Me and my friend in the light of neons during the Night of Museums. We were volunteers in local Contemporary Art Gallery responsible for 'guarding' a few exhibition halls in a creepy old power station (industrial space <3). We were also explaining some people the meaning of these kinda weird pieces of art. Sounds like fun, but after 6 hours of sitting in a room full of blinking neon lights we felt exhausted. :smalltongue: Also I've never imagined that so many odd people could visit an exhibition. In my 'neon room' some electricians used to find out how did the neons work and what parts they consist of, some 'omg I'm so badass' skates turned on the dirty old tap to see if there's still some water (the room was kind of lab before), children running everywhere and shouting, Mr Hipster who had his face so close to the neon while looking at it he almost put his nose between glass tubes, he was also walking around in strange way shaking his sport water bottle and putting it everywhere... :smalleek: A friend also told me about a man who used to knock a wooden sculpture, saying It was painted in a wrong way. Really, that night was weird experience.

I need new pictures to post here...
Rabbit is still way too adorable to be real.
Edit: I forgot, I had pictures on my phone!
Me, crazed? What makes you think that?
See look, I'm totally calm.
Oh hi there... :smallwink:
What are you up to tonight?
Me, I'm modelling. Um. In my own bathroom.
I think I almost have that male-model glower down
Though this is still my fave I think, other than the sexy lip-biting ones.

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy

Clearly next time we meet up we must make the same face.
It has been decreed.
Also I miss you. You're fun and I haven't talked to you in way too long.

Today it flooded a little bit in Venice. I remained thoroughly undeterred.

@Prime: Oh my gosh, that's so crazy! And you look exasperated, like a parent telling a kid to get up off the ground and stop throwing a temper tantrum
@Gwyn: I miss you, too, sweetie. I missed a lot of people :(

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
Hmm... They should probably do something about that whole sinking into the Adriatic thing...
Also... Are there supposed to be two missing statues on the top row of that building? Perhaps because of an entry way or something? The banner below them would indicate that, but it looks distinctly odd.

I keep telling water to obey, but it never listens... :smallannoyed:
Also, this kind of minor flooding is apparently quite regular in Piazza San Marco. Water flows up through manhole covers, and thus a really big puddle forms. Like so:

Judging by that picture, you have gone bananas.

:smallconfused:
Huh, I didn't notice that before. I don't know if anything is missing, but it's quite possible. Apparently Venice lost some of its stuff during the Italian unification, so that's my guess.

Haha, he does look like that!
And I wish I could go to the Trogland meetup this year, but I just don't have the money :smallfrown: Last year was fun, I wanna see all those folks again!

Yeah, money is an issue. And last time I tried to go to Boston, things... didn't work out. Right now I'm focusing on getting enough money to get through university, and if somehow enough money is found this summer, priority goes to taking a trip to the Maritimes.

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
I hate it when kids do this to me:
But not really.

They can't help it, you're just too adorable.

Aww, I wish kids liked me that much
Then again, they can smell fear, I've been told, so there's that :smalltongue:

That's odd. Usually fear provokes them into using people as jungle gyms and monkey bars.
...Being an ambulatory jungle gym is weird...

Apparently, I'm huggable. Although children are just as likely to attack me - I once had my kneecaps seriously bruised by a four-year-old with a plastic hammer. So yeah, it's a mixed blessing at best.

I've found that as a reaction to being a combination of ... let's call it "stout," and "unlikely to actually throw them into a patch of stinging nettles."

Mmm, my beard seems to simultaneously frighten and fascinate small children.
But why are you having children near stinging nettles anyway?
