"Look...all I'm saying is that even when he gets out of paralysis he keeps missing. You might want to practice accuracy and movement..." Kara says with a shrug.

"Phew! Looks like that one worked." Douglas glanced at the ball after picking it up. "I need to work on my throw. I think I'll call you Armour, but not for any particular reason."
He then knelt by Big C, who glanced back at him. "Thanks for that - good thing he couldn't get through your hide."
He removed an herb - and after some warning, he fed it to Big C. The nidorino spluttered a bit at the taste, but ate it regardless. It was then followed up by a much tastier set of herbs, mixed with a minor poultice. The result was a slightly bandaged nidorino who actually felt better almost immediately.
"There - that'll do for the instant. Let's finish going through the boardwalk before we backtrack."
Leaning on Truse, he kept going. Encounter over, Zon went back to bothering Douglas' camerupt.
(Healed him for 20, moving on)
Major: "This fight is going to get very repetitive, isn't it. Shall we just agree that you're going to win this probably and move on?"
Meanwhile, Bruce tries to punch Stratos again.

Kantolin: Meanwhile, as you go down the docks, you notice plenty of trainers. On the sides, the water is an inviting greenish blue. What do you do?
"Sure, I'll accept your surrender. Less pain that way." Kara says with a nod.
"Ha, look at that!"
It took Winter a couple moments to watch what Douglas was pointing at, as it just looked like the clear water. Finally, he noted it - the reflection of the light with the docks interfering made it look like a hazy moon was in the water.
The snover perked up as he really noticed it, stepping towards the edge to get a better look at it. Douglas leaned more heavily on Truse as he pointed down. "You can even trace the path. I guess the sun is just right, huh?"
He glanced up at the various trainers. "I wonder if any of them are fishing? Maybe we - " He began, intending on noting to Vicuna that he may be able to get a quick battle despite presuming in retrospect that a water pokemon may not be the best target for a camerupt.
Still, his statement was rather interrupted as Calzoncillo cannonballed into the water, saturating Douglas, Truse, Winter, wetting Vic, and soaking at least one nearby trainer.
"Ahh - Zon!" Douglas exclaimed.
"Right then, go out..."
He feels his belt, and looks down.
"Ah, damnation. I left the others at home again, didn't I. Why do I always do that when I have SCIENCE to do?"
(40*40*2=3200 experience for golurk)
Zon splashes around, happily, and dives under. You watch him swim beneath the dock, and surface on the other side. A yanma alights on his head when he surfaces.
"Sweet! So you owe me a stone!" Kara says with a grin as she ponders what kind. "Ummm...what about that one?" She ask pointing out the dawn stone.
Spoiler
I'll spend exp after stone is approved. Also what happened to the one pokemon offer thing...who is giving me that?
(The gardener was that one. Basically, a pokemon of your OoC choice of the field egg group that could be reasonably be found at a poison gym took interest (level determined by me) is now following you, as a new friend.)
"Eh...take it. Probably a spare somewhere. Maybe?"
SpoilerYou said field egg group so Spinerax is out. What level of a Nidoran Female?
Evolved Eeevee with the stone to Espeon, that gives me 10 pokemon total, thus a level up. Took Alpha so I can now have 8 companions with me. Boosted strength.
Kara thanks the man and holds the stone out to her friend Alba. With a flash of light the stone crumbled to nothing, but the power inside was enough to start a change. Soon the small Alba was replaced with a still small, but slightly bigger pinkish pokemon.
Kara grinned and hugged Alba before turning to look around. Strangely, the psychic power of Alba had somehow also boosted her own psychic control. Again she felt stronger as her psychic powers boosted her body.
Skipping to the next room, Kara looked back at all her friends and hoped the Gym Leader was scared.
(Sorry, meant pokemon FROM a field or forest. Just not thinking when I type. Spinarak is fine. Anyway, doesn't Alpha mean you're at five classes? Because with Rayquaza's deal, you can have a max of four currently, and five at 25)
Douglas shook off his hands, and then his sunglasses for a moment, exhaling. He then turned to the other trainer. "Sorry about that..." He apologized, briefly.
Simultaneously, Zon looked up, seeing the yanma. "Choke!" (Hi!)
Which was when he glanced forward in time to see a flame burst fire directly at him from a significantly-more-irriatated-than-anyone-else-there camerupt.
Zon recoiled as the blast pegged him in the face just before he could go under the water to relative safety. The poor Yanma found himself scalded by the remnants of the blast (And probably got off the machoke's head due to the machoke going underwater).
"Vicuņa!" Douglas dimmed his eyes. O~kay then. "FIRST of all!"
And with that, he returned his camerupt... which was when he actually noticed the yanma for the first time.
Spoiler
Attack roll to see if Vicuņa pegs Zon inna face and splashes the yanma, or if both Zon and the yanma are just splash targets. Either way, the yanma takes 1/16th of its max HP from the flame burst (I'm... unsure if it's doubled for yanma being weak to fire or not). Zon takes either 1/16th of his max HP, or the below damage if he gets hit.
To-hit roll vs Zon!: [roll0] needs to beat a 3 (Base 2, +1 SpDeF)
Damage roll vs Zon: [roll1] (I've subtracted Zon's Spdef of 6)
Zon's HP: 102/102
Also, technically, Vicuņa doing an attack and Douglas recalling him are too many actions at once, although I don't think 'Douglas' pissed off water-hating camerupt is attacking another of Douglas' pokemon' is particularly an abuse. :P Still, though, if you'd rather, he can prepare the attack but not actually blast at Zon (Which would make the potential actions add up).
...you just watch, he's gonna crit I know it.
(Thought it was a class. Carry on!
Spinarak-[roll0])
"Eh, getting wet is a risk of training here. No worries, lad."
The yanma shrieks as excess fire hits it, and sizzles as it hits the water.
It occurs to you as you watch it begin sinking that yanma aren't built to swim.
Esprit: The flame connects! Sludge is down to 40 HP!
"Aw, come on, you can do it! Snap out of it!"

Instead it splashes part of it's head onto the ceiling.

Major: The scientist points you down a hallway.
"You're nearing the top. Remember, though, he's a Gym Leader, so things will likely be more difficult than you think."
"Dang, that confusion is really screwing him up."
"Indeed it is," Ambrule added as she shot off another ball of flame.

With a powerful burst of fire, the muk bubbles before splattering everywhere.
"...He'll probably be fine."
He recalls the exploded muk, and you see a doorway knocked off it's hinges. You receive 3000 poke from the Ninja! Think I had experience for you. If not, I'll have to take another look tomorrow.
"Well, onto the next fight for you. Take care."
SpoilerI didn't see any.
"Do you have anything for Era, or is that on me to take care of?"
"Depends. Are you willing to give me money back?"
"Depends how much it is."
"Store price for hyper potion?"
He pulls out the potion (450).
"Have to replace it later, after all."
"Max Potion would be better, being more reliable, but oh well, we'll take what we can." He fishes out the proper coins and bills from a pocket. "Here you are."
He applies the potion to the Kirlia, who seems to come to.
Spoiler[roll0]
Ambrule: 66/66
Era: 84/90
Nox: 89/89
Still woozy. Need to mentally recover before fighting.
She hobbles forward, tripping over. Ambrule floats over to help support her. "Here, let me help." Era grumbles quietly about ghost, but doesn't resist the help.
Zachariah does the same checks for traps that he did before, before deciding whether to set fire to everything again. "Hm, wonder how I would be treated for just knocking out the next trainer with Hypnosis," he chuckles as he balls up the available light and slides it over the walls and floor while he searches for cracks and tripwires. "Probably a bad idea though." After running light around he scans the room thermally, and sends Ambrule out to search anything that glows warm or appears to be a door.
"Thanks!" Kara says waving as she runs down the hall.
Douglas' eyes widened as the yanma hit the water.
The smartest answer was, of course, to request his pokemon go swim - as one of them, in fact, /was/ - and have them help out the Yanma.
What he /did/, now, was to leap in the water. This was somewhere between extremely foolish and extremely short-sighted, as while he technically knew how to swim, his legs locked up almost immediately on the 'leap' half of the leap into the water goal.
This danger, however, did not last very long. Truse kept his head more in the game than Douglas did at the instant, and reached down, grabbing his trainer and hoisting him out of the water. Simultaneously, Zon hoisted the Yanma out of the water, swimming it to the dock.
"Okay... that was pretty dumb of me." He sat down, as Zon arrived near him with the Yanma.
"Choke!" (Here ya go!)
"You okay?" Douglas checked the Yanma, ensuring it got all the water out of itself - he'd never been great with bug egg groups, but he did know how they worked.
(Utilizing treat minor wounds to heal the yanma)
Esprit: The next room is actually a training room, judging by the exercise equipment. You get a thermal reading from nearby, and see a trainer punching a sandbag next to a purple hitmonchan.
Major: You rise above, and unlike the previous tunnels, you have windows here. Looking out, you see that you're in the central point and rising about five stories above the outer gardens. You come to an empty room missing a wall.
Instead, there's a zip line and a sign saying "Follow me to the end".
Kantolin: The yanma's breathing is ragged as it coughs up some water, still looking around at least. One wing got wounded badly enough that while it should heal, it can't fly at the moment.
Zachariah stands awkwardly as he already had begun to manipulate the light a bit. He awkwardly returns to the Kirlia, cleaning the bite wound as best he can. "Don't want that to get infected or anything. Crobat are poisonous after all."
Spoiler[roll0] for more healing on Era
He grumbles something about Cresillia and begins fishing for a Super Potion for her and Nox as he turns to the trainer. "I take it you're the next trainer here? Interesting colored Hitmonchan. Is that a normal alternate color? If you'll give me a few minutes to care for my team we'll be able to start in a few minutes."
Kara looks at the zipline and frowns. She had to ride a zip line all the way to the gym leader? With a groan she grabbed it wanting to get the stupid gym over with. She had done all this for free training and was starting to see why people just ended up paying.
Esprit: The trainer nods without looking back and keeps punching, as does the hitmonchan.
"Drago is type changed. Poison/fighting."
Major: You slide down the zip line, over several gardens and into a statue garden where dozens of poison types are wandering about (roll 1d6 for new species). In front of you is a sign.
