LOL!!!
"I will fight you all."
Uh,oh... eels. That can't be good.

Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
This is a superbly drawn and very well-written strip. I'll keep up with it for sure.

Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
So, right from the start, I've been convinced Sette is actually delivering Duane to her uncle - what's his name again? I suppose I shall soon see, how wrong my guess truly is! =)

I think it's the best webcomic currently out there, all respects to OotS of course. It's amazingly good AND free. As a book, I'd even read it. That cant be said about many comics.

Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
There were many ways I thought this might go.
Spoiler

But I have to admit to not having even considered a musical number.

Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
I'm reminded again how I love how this webcomic plays with page formatting and the like. So creative.

Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
HAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!
That. Was. AWESOME!!!!
Animation and hilarity in one? It just doesn't get any better than this.

Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
People are having too much fun, so here link to the miscellaneous section. There are two sad stories about Duane and Quigly that give more background to them and Alderode.

This update was actually two pages. The animation is on the second one.

It also needs some scripting to be allowed for it to work, but not sure what type. Probably just javascript?
But it was a brilliant shift of gears and a great distraction. I love this comic so much, amazing art, imaginative worldbuilding, and memorable characters on all sides of the equation.

At the very bottom of the second page there's a link for a non-javascript version, so yeah, I guess it's javascript.

Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
Ah, right, forgot about the second page. Thanks.

Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
Speaking of 2nd pages, I am SO thankful Ashley didn't make us wait until Wed to find out what happens next (she usually takes a "day off" when posting multiple pages).

Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
A brothel with friendship based payment? Multi-flavoured prostitutes? That sounds like a wonderful place :smalltongue:
So as I understand Stockyard uses his establishment to gain control of the city and not yet to pile up riches. Would explain why he doesn't pay the family it's share.

Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
So Cresce really is basically Communist. Interesting.
-
Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
"She knocked you out with a block"
"I had it coming."
Hilarious...

Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
Okaaayy... that settles the question of whether Sette's teeth are really that sharp or just drawn that way.
The last several pages have been fantastic so far, but I think the real fun is just about to start.

Indeed.
That was great

if you talk like daddy and you walk like daddy, maybe you also have daddy's temper... :smalltongue:

Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
Sette may not have much, but what she does have, she uses viciously. And it seems we're about to finally meet Stockyard. Maybe we'll also find out what the real purpose of sending Sette to him was.
-
Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
Okay, my respect for Sette just kicked up a few notches.
And Duane's deadpan attitude through this was hilarious as hell! The comments had me rolling...
-
Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
This whole sequence has been utterly brilliant. That hiatus in March? Totally. Worth it.
I think my favourite bits so far are Duane ejecting the letch (So suave! I'd swoon if I knew how to) and the 'tits for tat' pun in the song which I'm still chuckling about a few days after the fact.
-
Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
Ooooh, sweet burn Duane. Stockyard'll probably manage to take it in stride though, but still.
-
Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
*squeee*
I can't think of anything to say about the comic. It's too good.
-
Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
I have a feeling this is going to end pretty badly. Maybe with more Zombie Duane
-
Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
You can tell Sette and Stockyard are related because their clothes have the same color scheme.
-
Re: Unsounded, quite possibly the (2nd) best webcomic I have seen.
Certainly Stockyard is a fascinating fellow. A sort of Julio Scoundrel with an evil alignment?

Stockyard looks rather Crescian otherwise, though.
