The orc follows her. "Pardon me, Miss. Would you happen to be Rachel Denethar?"
Rachel swallows as the orc follows her. "Y-yes... can I help you?"
He smiles. "Pardon me for interrupting your evening. My name is Grak'thor the Destructor, and I am looking for an acquaintance of yours. Her name is Yvette. She speaks very highly of you. Is she here this evening?"
Rachel gulps. "I-I don't know where she is, sorry."
Spoiler: Bluff

The orc nods. "I see. Well, that is unfortunate. If you do see her, please let her know I'm looking for her. Good night."
He walks on. After a few minutes, Yvette emerges. "Thanks for covering for me."
"No problem... but why was he looking for you, Yvette?"
Yvette's face turns red. "Um, well, because...he's kinda my boyfriend..."
"...Wait, seriously? You're dating him?"
Yvette nods. "Yeah...I knew you'd react this way. That's why I was keeping it secret from you. We met at the beach during the summer and I just...I've never felt this way about a guy before."
Rachel decides to not comment on Yvette's choice in men. "But... if you two are seeing each other, why are you hiding from him?"
Yvette blushes. "It's still kind of embarrassing being seen together in public. Dwarves and orcs have kind of a...rough history. I haven't told anyone yet. I mean, I couldn't bring myself to tell you, do you think my mom or anyone else knows?"
"I understand. Don't worry, I won't tell anybody."
Yvette smiles awkwardly. "Thanks...well, now that the cat's out of the bag I can finally brag about how cute he is! For real, though, did you see that chest? You should see him cast spells, the man is a real fire-blooded wizard."
Rachel chuckles nervously. "Yeah, I saw..." Seriously, though, how does she find a guy like that cute?
Yvette beams. Her Affection has increased!
It's getting late. Does Rachel want to walk home with Yvette or will she stay and look for Lance on her own?
Rachel decides to stay and look for Lance. She wants to make amends for spying on him.
Lance is sitting with a few guys on the stairs as Rachel spies him. Will she dare to approach him this time? There are at least three other boys sitting with him, none of whom she knows.
If it was only one other guy, maybe two, Rachel might consider it. But approaching him when he has that many other guys talking with him... no, that's too much for her to brave. She backs away and looks around for any of the other people that she's gotten acquainted with.
She spies someone she's familiar with. The woman is strolling towards her right now! And...past her.
Risette approaches the stairs and smiles. "Hey Laaaance. It's a pretty nice party, huh?"
The other boys stare in shock. "Whoa, dude, it's Risette!"
"It's really her!"
"Dude, be cool! Don't embarrass Lance!"
The three other guys straighten up and shut up. Lance glances at each of them in turn before sitting up himself. "It's good to see you, Rise."
Rise? Is that her real name?
Rachel sighs and walks away. Seeing Risette, or "Rise", have the confidence to speak to Lance without any issue is like a slap in the face. Why couldn't she be more confident like her? Or Yvette? Or... anybody?
Sebastian looks at her from her shoulder. "(Elven) If it helps, Mistress, Maya seems very fond of you."
Rachel shrugs. "A little, yeah." No idea why she's fond of me, though...
Sebastian flies over her head. "(Elven) Well, what does that Risette girl have that you don't anyway? I mean, other than flashy clothes, and lots of makeup, and cheering fans, and self-confidence, and Lance...but other than that she's just a normal student really."
Rachel frowns. (Elven) "It would be a lot faster and easier to list what I've got that she doesn't." Nothing... She heads to find a place to sit down, ideally out of the crowd.
Rachel sits down alone for a few minutes before heading back to her dorm for the night. Tired from trying to find Lance, she hits the sack immediately.
The next day is Sunday. Rachel agreed to hang out with Risette today, but she could always try to find something else to do instead.
After the party last night, Rachel isn't really in the mood to spend time learning about being an idol with Risette. She heads to the library to see what books they have.
Rachel enters the library to find a large selection of...well, books. There are books on every subject. History, literature, magic, monsters, fiction, fantasy, alchemy, romance, adventure, everything she can think of.
After browsing for a bit, Rachel decides to look for some books on self-expression. One week back was enough to show her that she needs to learn how to come out of her shell.
Rachel checks out the book on self-expression! Rachel can read this book during the third period of the day (Lunch, 2nd, Night) instead of studying or going to bed early. If she does, it will improve her expression to a certain degree.
After checking out the book, Rachel heads out to find a quiet place on campus to read it.
