I do wanna stop and appreciate the dialog in this one, as well as what I was thinking at the time
Bandit Boss: "kill them!"
Flame: "we're (already) dead!"
Me (captioning Bandit Boss) :"Oh, okay, nevermind then... >_>"

Well, everyone, this is what we've been waiting for.
This chapter seems to be approaching it's finale,
which I will await with barely contained interest. Thank you again, Shoreward.
I suppose lowering the wordcount on my posts hasn't lowered it's cringe factor.
That skeleton didn't win that particularly tragic fight.
Not the best analogy, perhaps.
Thank you for reading this, and I hope you have a decent day!

Neat! Looks like Pellan's pretty good with a sword!
We have no idea how his last fight with this fire-thing went, other than that it went well enough for that red-dressed lady to consider Pellan swoonworthy (at least until he took off his helmet).
So this should be fun to watch.
I'm starting to seriously question the sanity of The Flame's former right-hand woman. That looks like the speech bubble of someone losing it.
Well, for goodness's sake, it's always something, isn't it?
Well done, Shoreward.
Who here is placing any bets on the first-comic's firebreather?
Are you alright, shoreward? It's been awhile.
Thank you for reading this, and hope a nice day happens to you!

Oooookaaaaaay, Cat is... scary.
Nice landing, though.
I'm loving this side of her.
Though I gotta wonder what's the problem with just letting these guys run away.

She liked him, didn't she? :smallamused:

I'm guessing that whatever that... thing was, it's really, really dangerous compared to the usual power level of this world. Perhaps the stone that was sealing it in was a powerful artifact or something.
Well, I'd never expected to be online when the comic was updated.
A welcome surprise.
Yay, the shortcutters aren't dead!
We now have an official Adventuring Party, ladies and gentlemen.
Any bets on where it goes next?
"To follow the river" Forfeits.
Thank you for reading this, and shoreward for continuing this comic!
Usually I would comment on our heroes leaving someone in danger.
But meh, bandit-girl released the fire thing, so it's her problem to deal with it.
Emberhead seems to be gunning for Pellan though, he's probably gonna have to fight it eventually, whether he wants to or not.
Well, I mean, certainly it's a dangerous opponent - it's just not some kind of unique and overpowered Outside Context Problem.
Pellan's reaction definitely points towards the fite being dangerous.
Even more so since they are in a forest this time, not a stone building.
That's a pretty huge force multiplier for someone burning with anger like that.
Just found this.
I like it. Fun times!
Always nice to have new people on board! Sometimes I wonder how many people are lurking and where they're coming from.

End of this chapter. Considering taking a one week break to build up my buffer a little more again. I'm still ahead, but with all my writing I'm slightly less ahead than I used to be. It's not pressing, though, and it's entirely possible I'll just keep on with my weekly update as scheduled anyway out of habit.
