Basement, for lil ol me.
The Servant's Quarters, they are uncrowded.
"The one downstairs that had the same spiel from the first time around. You know, where we throw someone in the door each day?" Brian eyes Martin carefully.
((Master Bedroom this game. I've had enough of the glass and knife filled Servant's Quarters. :smalleek:))
I'll lurk in the basement thanks.
Offering 1:1 odds on me getting attacked tonight
I don't like this spooky old house, but the garden sounds nice...
The man laying down in the kitchen, although he still looks like he's asleep, reaches into his clothing and sets an alarm clock next to him.
The young, mousy looking woman folds her legs under her and sits down across from Helgraf, smiling shyly.
"Well... you certainly have an interesting tactic of batting away the terror... I'll play green if you don't mind... I really don't wish to see any more red today..."
Main Room
"Oh ha, yes, ha ha. Terror. I've come quite some ways to indulge in the hyperbole this place steeps in." He took a set of blue pieces for himself, handed her the green ones she'd requested. "Would the lady care to go first, or shall we engage in tempting fate," he inquired with a wry grin, turning his left hand over to reveal a small bone die cupped between middle and ring fingers.
Victoria decides to sleep in the Kitchen tonight, hoping that someone living will get hungry and find her.
Er, I'm very very sorry? :smallfrown:
The Main Room
THE GARDEN! And all that that entails. Even if I have to sleep near Trixie and Evvie... :smallyuk::smalltongue:
I'll sleep in the kitchen, please.
Time for a midnight feast! Heat up the ovens, raid the pantry! Let's see what we can cook up!
R. Enwith gives a rumbly chuckle. "So be it then." He tossed the small bone die, getting a 2, then scooped it up and handed it to her, and the game got underway. She would find he was personable, almost chatty as they played, dancing between asking questions and commenting on various matters.
"So, before all this falala got underway," he inquired after moving one of his pieces that had been lagging behind, "what fascinating life had you been living?"
The Main Room is where I shall reside this night.
Odysseus sees everyone scurry off in different directions. It takes him a while to realize they are going to find a place to sleep, as he is sure that the thick curtains mean no one can tell night from day anyways. He weighs up his options and decides to try his luck in the basement.
"Ain't NO WAY i'm going up those stairs again."
Howdy guys!
'Twas all in jest, friend.
Claire wandered the corridors timidly in the silence. What was this; some kind of game show? They’d picked her up on her way home from school, they must have knocked her out with some kind of gas or something. Were they allowed to do that? That wasn’t legal, was that? They couldn’t be allowed to do that. Perhaps some psychopath stalker freak had kidnapped her and was keeping her for his sick desires. The thought sent shivers down her spine. Claire hadn’t seen any cameras, but that sicko must be watching her somehow. She turned her attention to the portraits lining the hall. They all seemed to be immaculately dressed men. Many of them looked rather gaunt, and most had dark hair. Examining them closely for eyeholes Claire jumped back in surprise when the portraits lips curled up in a smile. Screaming, she threw her bag at the psychopath, knocking the portrait off the wall. There was no hole where it had hung. Eyes fixed on where the picture had hung she crept forward, and snatching up her bag ran off through the manor.
It was some time later, and Claire had began to calm down. Perhaps there was a hatch behind the picture, and the man had been able to close it on time. Perhaps this was all some huge prank. Turning a corner she entered a room, this time with other people in it. Perhaps they could help her escape from this place.
“Do any of you have a torch? If not, I’m off to the basement to see if I can fix any of the fuses. This place is dark enough at daytime. If anyone wants to come with that’d be appreciated, especially if they know where it actually is.”

Sunny wanders into the Master Bedroom. The eight year old still clutches her screwdriver protectively, and her eyes scan the objects around her.
There. An electric space heater.
She carefully unplugs it from the wall and wipes the dust off. Then she begins to dismantle it.
I'll take a spot in the Garden.
Skeeter makes it to his bed and lays down into it. It still smelled of his owners and that comforted him. They should be back any time to pick him up. Curling up, he soon starts to snore.
I'll sleep in The Servant's Quarters
(and pet the dog while I'm here)
Miranda curls up near the little dog and drifts off to sleep soon. Those awakening in the middle of the night might be in for a surprise...since she soon shifts into a toy collie dog.
