Oooh. This looks like an interesting start to something fun!
I am intrigued and wish to see more.
It looks nice. I'd definitely read the next page.
The typesetting of the text looks a little off. The fonts are slightly different sizes and the glyphs look a little too close. It's a little off-putting. It might be more noticeable because otherwise visually it looks pretty good.
Pyrosopher makes me think about a guy who just can't stop talking about fire. Ever.

I'm not really a designer, but it's the font sizes that bother you the most, right? Guess I'll tone down the differences then.
Anyway, glad to see some of you enjoying what's there at the moment.
So, is this a replacement for Bibliography because of the issues with Gaijinmanga?
And they use cards? Very Cardcaptor Yugioh. :smalltongue:
You should try to find a real host, though. Photobucket has its limits. And if you're not buying your own webspace to be your own host, find one that leaves you property over your creation. For example, I've heard "horror stories" about ComicGenesis; but at least authors were able to leave with their comic when it happened.
Well, very interesting, you got me hooked by the first page.
This is very slick and professional looking, you should definitely keep doing it! You're a natural!
Page 3
Not really a replacement for the time being, just something I've wanted to do for a while.
As for webhost, I've looked at those places before but never really been good at coding. I guess once this gets far enough I'll start exploring options.
I'm curious as to the card aspect. Part of me doesn't like it as much as Bibliography's sigils, probably just because cards have been done, significantly. It'd be neat for specific cards' number and suits meaning something and being more like an ingrained ability/tattoo, but I think that your obviously leaning toward a more elemental feeling to things.
edit: Also re: hosting, I know there's a few places that have a fairly easy template/uploading system that I've heard of, but I'm unfortunately blanking on them right now.
Also, in other comments, I feel like I really like the black and white, non-paintery style, but I think I'm also biased in that I like defined lines the best.
Interesting. The monologue on the first page felt kind of awkward but it piqued my interest. The second page looks pretty badass. The third page is interesting. I'm guessing the young girl is our protagonist. Though it could also be the guy with the cowboy hat. Which would most likely make the young girl the plucky sidekick.
Anyway, I'm glad to see that you are making stuff again as I love your work. I wish it was more Bibliography as I'm already invested in those characters but I understand why that's not an option.
From the first three pages I'd say I actually prefer this to Bibliography! Though, a non-earth setting and an elderly mage smoking a pipe is always a good way to catch my attention :smalltongue:
Awesome so far, can't wait to see more~

I'm also interested in this.
Hooray! More comics by Elagune!
Sounds cliche. But it's free and nothing significant's happened yet, so I'll reserve judgement for now...
Looks very good, promising with the unfortunate hiatus of Bibliography... Well, we all must know what this means....
I GET DIPS ON WENDY AVATAR!
Hm... there are 13 card values, and 14 elements. Some part of me is saying that this is relevant, and the other part is nagging that I'm assuming it's a normal playing card...
Here to support Elagune since Bibliography is on hold, sir!
EDIT: OHWAOW.
Those drinks look AWESOME.
Hope we get a name and recipe for some of them, or even a flavor to try to replicate! *gnaws of his hot-wolf*:smalltongue:
I support this wholeheartedly. It's good to see you working through your "writer's strike" as it were.
The girl looks like a 10-year old Eve with a different hairstyle and freckles.
If Fairy Tail can have a pink-haired, fanged version of a character from Rave who also looks like Luffy from One Piece, Elagune is allowed to make younger versions of his own characters act as models.
Especially since Manga characters often look almost exactly the same aside from hair style and facial decoration anyway :smalltongue:
Occasionally, yes.
My point is that noting facial similarity is pretty pointless in manga since it's stylized artwork, and usually relatively simplistic*.
But can we STOP discussing her face? I like the three pages we've gotten so far and hope for more.
-----
*Not SIMPLE. Simplistic. Big difference.
While yes, Elagune's art style does wobble around a bit as he experimented, I just C&P for side by side comparison shots.
I think that they're similar in the fact that they're girls, and that's about it.
Okay, fine.
Let's try to decipher the meaning of the symbols on page 2! What? I had to post more than "okay, fine". :smalltongue:
Bottom right: Lungs or hoofprint?
There's also fire, lightning, water, heart (obligatory trope mention: What Kind of Lame Power is Heart? :smalltongue:) and the moon...
Is that spiky one an explosion?
Then there's one that looks like mountains.
Curious, might follow this as it's just starting up, makes it easier to get into, hahah. :smalltongue:
lets see 11 webcomics that I'm hooked on now
great, to see you getting something done while Bibliography is on hold
if you help you know that you have a strong backing here
I heard Keenspot is good keeping comics under creator control for free
There are 14 lines in a sonnet! And the Globe Theater had 14 sides (According to Doctor Who. According to wikipedia, it may have had upwards of 20. Who knows...) !
...yeah, I got nothing.
Wild theorizing already. Good work, Elagune. Your fanbase likes this.
As to my theory, he picked fourteen because it's twice 7, one more than 13, same reason the dwarves recruited Bilbo, to avoid the unlucky number. Mainly because 7 was easy to remember, though, and once he had 7 things, he just devised opposites for them.
...Yup, planting wild theories, waiting for them to grow. :smalltongue:
I just want to say, Elagune, that your art is amazing. Thanks for existing and thank you for sharing :D
So when's the book coming out?
Same actress. :smalltongue:
Prime?!? How could you!?!
I'm willing to bet that there will eventually be characters who can combine multiple elements.
Speaking of TVTropes...re: webcomic hosting, you can start here and work your way out.
Just found that. Looks interesting. Some elements (namely Death and Darkness) look weird as an element, because they're just the absence of their opposite. But let's see what Elagune has in mind!
So I made some fan art but I'm on my phone so I'll post it when I get to a computer. :smallcool:
Edit: here we go, Wendy crossed with Twisted Fate. Hat's wonky.

I'm surprised that I have fanart already! I like how it looks.
Thaumaturge
Two new page up!
Anyway, after some advice it looks like I'm going to be hosting on Drunkduck for the moment. I bet it's pretty annoying clicking through the pages, so this'll probably make it easier for you guys to read.
That is quite fantastic, actually. Truly good webcomics are few and far between, and this looks as though it might have the potential to be one. I was a little turned off by the whole 14 elements deal, but the art is fantastic, and the world feels unique already. Good job.
Well I know who I'm shipping.
Chapter 1. Page 4. Last panel... Uh Oh.
This is one of those "saved by the shopping trip" followed by "a few years later" beginnings, isn't it?
Aww, she only wants to help. We'll see how this story goes, but it looks pretty good.
You'll keep warning us here than new pages have been added, right?
So it's a western setting? Mid-fantasy western?
Nice.
