Very well. Let's see...

Now, sire, I have not done anything wrong. Nor have I commited any crime, aside from the ocassional pilfering of bread, but that was only because I was starving. If you are going to execute scapegoats sire, you'll only drive the rest of your people into rebellion. Please sire, let me point you to one who is truly a rebel... Our Lady DLD has previously shown herself to be a treacherous individual, and I honestly believe she will lead us to the rebels.
EK points at DLD

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
*turning to Alarra, he bows*
M'lady. What lovely flowers they are, indeed.
Now then. We have the Emperor's commands, do we not?
*Decken points at Eldritch Knight.*

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
The emporer says we point at EK?
She lowers a finger reluctantly.
But Krusk stole my hard earned coppers...
She sighs, and raises her finger to point at EK.

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
The illitithid looks around. "If the emperor says so..." He points at EK.

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
Shadow takes one of the flowers and puts it in Alarra's hair before devouring the delicious pie. A mouth full of apples and cinnamon, he says,"Fhank yuu. Diss id wundafall.""
Shadow then points at heretic because yellow and blue make green.
(I hate the first day.)

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
(Yeah. Unfair for the first lynchee eh? I feel sorry for EK.))
Ugh. Close your mouth when you talk. What a filthy habit.
-
Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
Nah... I can honestly say that I probably had it coming. Oh well....
-
Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
"Nay! 'tis not I! Surely, the judgement of so many cannot be incorrect..." heretic points at EK Start them necks a-breakin'...fill me cart with customers...
-
Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
If the emperor says so, it must be true.
*Magtok points at EK*

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
"As the emperor wishes." Alarra points at EK with a slight bow.

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
As the day draws to a close, the council of nobles reaches a verdict. Eldritch Knight is arrested and brought to trial. With peasant and noble alike calling for his blood, he has little hope of winning the trial. As he is led off to his execution, one of the peasants he grew up with, heretic, begins to regret his part in the trial. He runs after Eldritch Knight and tries to free him, but he is quickly slain by the imperial troops.
As the imperial soldiers clear the houses of the dead, they find no evidence of treachery. These men were innocent peasants, not the rebellious murderers the people had been searching for.
Night falls on a city still threatened by murderous rebels.
((Synopsis: Both noble and peasant courts selected Eldritch Knight. Eldritch Knight and heretic, the lovers, have been slain. Night ends at 11:30 PM EST on Friday, March 23. Please send me your actions by then.))
((Oh, and heretic...why did you vote for your own lover? :smallconfused:))

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
Meh. It was about time I was the first lynched again.

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
((Must resist temptation to make WW5 jokes...))

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
Heretic was obviously insane. It's a good thing we got rid of him early on.
((But really, why did he do that??))
-
Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
((I'm sick, and I haven't received most of your actions. I'm asking a resend of all actions and I'm delaying the end of night by 12 hours. Sorry for any inconveniences.))

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
*The llama cloeses the shop and gets to bed because he'll have to be up early tomorrow to make the new bread and pies*

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
As dawn breaks over the city, the people are anxious about discovering a dead comrade nearby. However, no corpse can be found. Several of the imperial guards look around a bit smugly, and, although a few are minorly wounded and many of them will need repairs to their armor and weapons, not one has fallen under rebel blades.
((Synopsis: The guards protected the rebels' proposed victim. Night falls in 48 hours. Please vote on who to lynch now. If you failed to vote last time, a failure to vote again will result in autolynching.))

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
Castaras smiles to the sky, newly washed and happy that no-one was killed. She walks down to the town square, takes a seat by the fountain, and starts to sing.
A blacksmith courted me
Nine months and better
He fairly won my heart
Wrote me a letter
With his hammer in his hand
He looked quite clever
And if I was with my love
I'd live for ever.
But where is my love gone
With his cheeks like roses
And his good black Billycock on
Decked round with primroses
I'm afraid the scorching sun
Will shine and burn his beauty
And if I was with my love
I'd do my duty.
Strange news is come to town
Strange news is carried
Strange news flys up and down
That my love is married.
I wish them both much joy
Though they can't hear me
And may God reward him well
For the slighting of me.
Don't you remember when
You lay beside me
And you said you'd marry me
And not deny me
If I said I'd marry you
It was only for to try you
So bring your witness love
And I'll not deny you.
No witness have I none
Save God Almighty
And may he reward you well
For the slighting of me
Her lips grew pale and wan
It made a poor heart tremble
To think she loved a one
And he proved deceitful.
A blacksmith courted me
Nine months and better
He fairly won my heart
Wrote me a letter
With his hammer in his hand
He looked quite clever
And if I was with my love
I'd live forever.

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
So... time to come clean then. I am the captain. Pity the intended victim wasn't told, since thats standard procedure in most werewolf games, but I guess that just means this will take an extra night.
Scan me. Check whether I'm on the level. I assure you that I am.
Basically... I am untouchable, as long as I don't protect anyone else. So don't come forth seers. Tell me the rebels, once you are sure of my innocence.

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
"I, for one, am inclined to trust Selrahc. But there are nonetheless rebels among us. Who is to be led to the slaughter today?"
-
Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
Asarth runs down to the town square.
"I hope I'm not late. I only heard the news of the rebellion today, and came here fast as I could."
He notices the new gravestones in the cemetery and rushes up to them.
"Already some have died, we must find the rebels immediately, before it is too late..."
((Yeah,I was here when it began, but I really had no evidence or things to say.))
-
Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
Castaras glances round the crowd.
So who do we think did this? Maybe we should trust in the gods to give us something to follow.
[roll0] pigeons flutter down to land beside Castaras.
Shadow, my dear employer, are you one of the rebels?
-
Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
I still think shadow would be a good choice in an alpha wolf game.

You're kidding right?
YOU'RE FIRED!"

But...but...:smallfrown:
Wait, you admit you're one of the rebels?!
* Points at Shadow *
All I did was ask, and he fires me! * Snivel *

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
I don't take kindly to being called traitorous scum!
Maybe you can go work for the soon to be out of business mail maker, Captain van der Decken while I try to root out the real Rebels.
Silly, lazy youngsters....
((It doesn't matter how I answer that question. It makes me look guilty either way. I could be the Drunkard and I'm guilty. I could be a peasant and I'm guilty. I could be a Rebel and I'm guilty. I could be a Noble and I'm guilty. It doesn't matter.))
-
Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
However much I.. dislike you, I'm not petty enough to accuse you of treason. And random accusations are mighty suspicous, beggar.
I think Selrahc seems a trusty enough fellow.

Re: Rebellion (In Progress)
((Arbitary vote to avoid Auto-Lynch. There is no real logic behind this. Again, only to avoid Auto-Lynch.))
*Points at Atreyu
"We're looking for assassins, right? Atreyu could be one! Atreyu also starts with an A! There's two 'a's in 'Llama' as well!"
