Giant and Apegamer, thank you for the continuous updates on the progress of all of this. I, and I'm sure many others, really appreciate it!
Just got my email (two of them actually) from Ookoodook about shipping. Myself and my players will eagerly await their arrival!
Well, to my relief, I haven't gotten a shipping e-mail yet. I just put in the request to Ookoodook to pick up my order at the convention. Thanks.
And now I eagerly await for my email pre-order confirmation.
Just put in my order. Thanks!
Respectfully,
Brian P.
Glad to hear this- thanks for the updates. Thanks too for letting us know emails should be going out over the course of the week- makes me rest a little easier that I haven't seen mine yet.
Also- really looking forward to getting my hands on the book! Hopefully the issues surrounding the book and pre-orders to this point don't obscure the massive (and well-deserved) success that your webcomic has had. Congratulations on almost 8 years and 7 shipped books!
Oh sweet joy!
I just hope the danish customs doesn't take the shipment in.
It usually screws things up and costs me money.
Cant wait to get this. Unfortunately I won't be able to read it for another week or so, since I'm moving around. Luckily I managed to get my address changed before it got shipped out. And now... to wait.
havent gotten the email yet, but im still glad shipping has occured. cant wait to get the book.
I am wondering, is it unreasonable to think my book arrived yesterday? As I have a note in my PO Box saying I have something to pick up.
I wasn't expecting it until at least next week.
When is the latest do you think anyone should expect an email regarding delivery? I am excited to know that shipping has commenced, but not receiving a notice of my specific book's status is making me wonder if there is any possibility that my particular order slipped through the cracks.
We're getting emails from people wanting to change their address AFTER they receive notification that their order has shipped.
Even if you've not received the shipping email yet, it's unfortunately too late to change your address.
Hopefully you have mail forwarding is in place.
Also, if you've not already told us you'll pick up your book at Gen Con, then we'll be mailing it to you.
I got my e-mail yesterday in the wee hours of the morning (for me), saying the package was shipped on July 31 (yay!), and the tracking tool at usps.com says it was in Houston, "Processed through Sort Facility", yesterday afternoon (American time, I guess).
Does anyone in here have experiences how long it takes for Ookoodook orders to arrive in Austria? I'm content with an estimate, I'm just curious
the book is in a warehouse in houston, tx. san antoniois about 200 miles from houston. in need of a road trip. im wondering if i can drive there and pick it up this weekend from the warehouse. that would be awesome.
To clarify, we will post a note when we've shipped the last of the orders.
Don't panic if you've not received a shipping email yet. Most people still have not. That's not to say we're behind schedule - things are going very well.
There's a news that says we shall all thank Kevin. I ordered by proxy, but thank you.
The book is in my hand. It is real, and it is spectacular.
My copy is set to arrive today, and the mail truck just went past on the other side of the street. Cue shivers from MoonCat. I guess after all this time (wow, remember early May?) it's hard to believe we're close. I wish to give my heartfelt thanks to Ookadook for all their hard work getting it to us, and to the Giant for even making the book in the first place. Oh hey, I think that's the mail truck now... :smalleek:
Got my email a few days ago, but of course I'm away until the 16th, and unable to actually pick it up when it arrives! But at least I now know that it really does exist.
My copy just arrived.
