Otherwise, the MM has more info, but illithid explicitly aren't in the SRD due to restrictions in Intellectual Property laws.

The actual psionic illithids are in the Expanded Psionics Handbook, where they belong.

Lords of Madness has large amounts of unnecessary information on illithids, as well as other creatures from wherever illithids are from, in addition to super-illithids (ulitharids), mind flayer vampires, and mind flayer liches called alhoons. There are other things scattered elsewhere but MMV, LoM and EPH are the main illithid sources.
