Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
Did you know that if you double-click the blank area around the title of a thread you've started a thread title edit box comes up?:smallconfused: I just accidentally discovered this...

Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
O.o Me not get it... Me confused... What do you mean with that?
Never mind.. I've found out too...
-
Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
Where exactly do you click? It's not working with the Hall of Fame :smallfrown:
-
Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
At the thread index, that is...
There, you double click the title and presto!!

Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
Bugs don't bother me at all. I'm like a thousand times bigger than they are. It stands no chance against me. If I see one, and I don't want it there, I kill it and then throw it away. Problem solved.

Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
A friend of mine took a video of me playing Rayman Raving Rabbids and uploaded it to Youtube... Now everybody can see me... I didn't realize he was recording until the end...
Anyway, I'm pretty good at that game... Any challenger?
Note: I'm not giving you the link... On this thread... It's on You: V...

Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
Yeah, skippy, that's what a spider swarm would look like. :smalleek:
Really cool and really freaky at the same time.

Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
I believe those are daddy longlegs. Of course, three different insects are called daddy longlegs, so we may have trouble coming to an agreement on that fact. I see these swarms every time I go to scout camp. They form up in balls at the corner, and under the platforms the tents go on. When you throw rocks at them, they explode into hundreds of spiders. It's pretty awesome to see.
-
Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
Here you can only see one or two at the same place... 5 at the most, but not that many...
It is really awesome... I'm still speechless...

Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
I've had thoughts of creating a series of games, Jim Lorfen's Squirrel Raiser, Jim Lorfen's pastry Trebuchet, Jim Lorfen's Battle Moth. Several of these are suggestions by other people.
At no point will any of these games make any attempt to explain who Jim Lorfen is and what relation he has to any of the games.

Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
Interrupting the spider topic for a moment.
I'm sorry Australians, I know y'all are an interesting lot, and it'd be nice to get to meet a few of you. But it will take a direct at by some divine presence to get me to go to Australia. Instead, I shall stay wrapped up in my personal bubble, safely away from your continent where anything that can be classified as "alive" can kill me. :smalleek:
Ok, I'm done. Back to gawking over the mass of spiders.

Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
You now, when I read The Last Continet I thought that some of it was exaggeration. I'm starting to think it isn't now. Specifically:
I WOULD LIKE A LIST OF EVERYTHING DEADLY ON XXXX
*lots of books cascade onot Death. After Albert rescues Death*
PERHAPS A LIST OF EVERYTHING THAT IS NOT DEADLY ON THE AFORESAID CONTINENT?
*they wait*
HMM, PERHAPS...
*a small piece of pape floats lazily out of the darkness.*
SOME OF THE SHEEP APPARENTLY.
That's approximately the section. Now, for Daddy Long Legs. Did you know they are the most poisonoous animals on Earth. And they don't have any teeth. Ironic isn't it?

They do have teeth but their teeth are only like less than a mm long, but I guess they can bite as one bit Adam Savage on Mythbusters, I was surprised that it mentioned this in the Wikipedia article

Because sometimes you say it best when you say nothing at all.

But you're not saying anything best because you're not saying anything! It's just a link!

The link says everything, and the context is provided by the quote.

I've always heard of these as Granddaddy longlegs. They are gross but not too bad since they can't bite you. Though I've also heard that they are the most poisonous ones ever...
Also never ever ever seen so many in one place.....:smalleek:

He owns the Internet.. He knows every link on every page, and every article that might add something to the conversation. I'm not amazed anymore, but I still wait anxiously to see what will be the next thing he posts...

Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
Daddy long legs; whatever the actual arahnid/insect it really is are highly creepy. It's the legs, and they bounce! There is nothing pleasant about any creature called a Daddy Long Legs.
@ER. You like the Pictsies. Check in my sig. Dr. Bath says anyone can use the banner. Just credit it to him.

Re: Radikalskippy's Random Banter #85 of lost ideas and where to find them...
It's weird how during the school year, Friday was the most celebrated day of the week. Now it's my most dreaded since school's out for the summer. Friday means weekend. Weekend means no updates for any web comics. It means my parents and older sister being home all day so I don't have the house to myself. It means that everywhere I go, it will be more crowded then during the week from people being not at work. It's not a huge inconvenience and I'm not complaining.Just thinking. Weekends were the best during the school year. Summer break comes and they lose their sheen.

:smalltongue: Rawhide, we don't actually have to click on every single link you post, ya know.
Yes, I know they aren't necessarily the most poisonous spiders. Yes, I did click on your link. Feel better? :smallamused:
Also, congrats on getting your assignment done!! *cheers*
