Well, it's certainly not Batman in any meaningful way. Random violence against people who aren't breaking the law or endangering people, does that sound like Batman to you Applejack?
I honestly can't imagine Batman being anything other than distantly approving but almost entirely uninterested in the whole pony/brony thing. The generally positive attitude of the fans, that's a plus point, but it's just not a concern of his and he's not really the type to sit around watching shows of any kind, he's far too driven to allow downtime.
Even for Ponies.

Re: My Little Pony LIV:E Long and Pony!
Of course Batman hates bronies! He hates everything happy and/or cheerful

I don't know about distantly approving... Batman is allowed to be a stick in the mud about somethings.
Him grumbling about kids these days is much funnier anyways.

He might become more interested when he learns that the Joker's latest crime spree constists almost entierly of swiping every Pinkie Pie figurine that makes its way into Gotham, tho.

Not that I've ever noticed. Or at least, closest to that is when he's forced to go along with it because other members of the bat-family think he needs to cheer up/relax.
So as long as Robin doesn't become a massively zealous evangelical-brony, it's all fine.
And of course he'd be vaguely, distantly and disinterestedly approving, because it fits into the unimportant-to-positive slot in his one criteria for judging such things; How does this affect crime in Gotham?
Of course, if the Joker plots a series of crimes themed around the show or something, he might be forced to watch it all in order to outsmart him. (Which would likely be the Joker's dastardly plan all along, to get Batman to watch a show for little girls and overweight man-children. Batman frustrates the Joker by not particularly being bothered by the jibes, being better informed about Bronies and neither hating the show nor getting overly worked up about it.)

No, Robin would totally get into it behind Batman's back. Batman would know, but not really care.

I take it some of you aren't familiar with this
little "gem", as seen in Batman: Fortunate Son (and popularised by Atop the Forth Wall?)
When taking that level of hilarious innanity into account, Batman having animosity towards bronies seems almost plausible...!

Actually I would say Ditzy would be the hurtful nickname for Derpy. (Thus why Rainbow Dash used Derpy when talking to her.)

Re: My Little Pony LIV:E Long and Pony!
Okay, you may have noticed that I love the Disney version of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. So, I have thought of perhaps my favorite crossover idea: The Draqonequus of Notre Dame.
Cast:
Pinkie Pie as Clopin
Discord as Quasi
Celestia as Esmeralda
Luna (maybe) as Phoebus
I'm liking the idea of Chrysalis as Frollo, seeing as how he's somewhat mercurial in nature.
Please, tell me if you have better ideas for these characters.
(Is it bad that I saw this and Hunchback was the first thing I jumped to?
Oh wait, it actually does link to that. But I jumped to that before seeing the video.)
Best. Video. Ever.

So, what you're saying here is that you want Luna and Discord both crushing on Celestia in the same story?
Edit: woops, I mean Luna, Discord, and Chrysalis, only Chrysalis also gets to try and kill her too and gets a solo song about it.

That's why she's a maybe. I haven't figured out who else to put there.
Maybe emphasize the protective nature, instead the crushing.

Replace Luna with Twilight and it could be canon! :smalltongue:

you can probably just google "how to draw mlp"
there are also some good pony generators if you just want to fiddle around.

I know, it's so hard to find Luna blind bags.
On that note, I think that Batman's favorite pony would probably be Twilight Sparkle--influential, smart, and looks really cool in a black, skintight costume.
Alternate Hunchback casting:
Clopin: Pinkie Pie
Quasimodo: Twilight Sparkle
Frollo: Celestia
Esmeralda: Luna
Phoebus: Gosh dang, he's hard to cast. Rainbow Dash? Extra irony for Clopin attempting to kill both Quasi and Phoebus.. (Cupcakes, anyone?)
Victor, Hugo, and Laverne: the Cutie Mark Crusaders
We still have incest between Celestia and Luna, but I don't know how that can be easily avoided.

Given that whatever her Equestrian name is translated into English as "Ditzy"...

Well yeah but it's more plausible (and less squicky) then Luna having a crush on Celestia. Plus Chrysalis already got a song too.

Re: My Little Pony LIV:E Long and Pony!
Spike: A dragon or Salamander
Spoiler
Show
I mean he doesn't have wings, but all the dragons have wings. I mean Salamander (Mythic version) can breathe fire, fireproof and doesn't have wings.
If he's a dragon, Spike could be like Worf, who is considered as a good guy in the evil race.

Also not Batman. And genuinely terrible.

How does this explain best dragon, Crackle?
Spike is a Dragon, not a salamander. He's a landbound dragon, that's all. There are clearly many different types.

I know it remains my own headcanon that Spike will simply grow wings naturally. (The two times he's grown were unnatural and don't even match!)

Sorry to repost so soon, but I was kinda wondering if anyone had an opinion on this. The deadline is a little under two weeks and I'm not sure if I can do something that fast, and if so, which idea to go with. I have the Fluttershy Mindscape story more or less plotted out, but it has a tad more serious tone than my usual work. Or I can go with another one of my ideas. Perhaps a work vs. play AJ/Pinkie story based on the Grasshopper and the Ants, or perhaps a Dash/Pinkie story in which Dash can't let it go when Pinkie consistently beats her at a game Dash's good at.
Thoughts?
