The average tech level in riverside is modern-day actually. There are pockets of more and less modern tech though. Like DC's store for example or the castle flying overhead.

Northside is a bout modern, and full of unsavory wealthy people. Westside is a bit older, I think, and full of vampires. At the very least there are enough streetlights so that the humans don't feel to uneasy walking down the street.
As for the recently renovated parts of the city, you would have to ask Vael. Not sure what Genesis would have done with that.
OrchestraHC: I'd like to know how loud the blaster Justin used in the Hermitage is before I post in the Temples thread.
C'nor: I've PM'd Harnel about the scene in question. Also, is your name pronounced 'snore'?
Everyone else: I'm getting there.
I allways spell it See-nor^^
Kinda loud, but not crazy loud.
Deadtime now. Goodnight, sleep tight and don't let the Rarog bite.
btw, I found this on my cousin's facebook. Hilarious.

Indeed. I'll get on that right after a short period of deadtime, all things notwithstanding.
Actually, that post might not come tonight. It looks like it will have to wait until tomorrow on account of a project that is due at the end of the week that I should be working on right now.
Hey, Serph, Bookboy, would you mind the triplets spotting the battle on the lake, as they're in roughly the same area?
Not really. They might get knocked over by Jit in a moment though, he's about to run.
Sure Knock yourself out Both Jit and Red who is now element Are feral at the moment, maybe you can knock them to their senses?
In trog's tavern
Zefir and ThirdEmperor, Bookboy's char said something about destroying the box.
Can you put in what your characters have to say so we can leave to go start the SRW plot?
@ Murkus: Hi I need a few more information until I can post in thehunting grounds. What do you assume as Magical beast? I'm sure Tovpir can't be count as 'normal'. That said I'm also confused at the dagger. do you mean it cut's through everything when used against a magical creature or does it bypass magical defense?
It is particularly adept at cutting through the flesh of mythical creatures, I.E., those with special, supernatural powers or origins like Tovpir. While it can't slash directly through Tovpir's stony hide, Adir assumed that hitting one of the gaps in his armor (if any such gaps exist) would weaken him. The spell on the dagger does bypass magical defenses.
Of course, if Tovpir's not magical at all and is merely growing crystals through some freak of Nexus nature, that's fine too. The Magic Fang should still prove effective, just less so.
Just a quick question, Murkus - are those kids you have at GLoG part of Jack's plan to steal the souls of GLoG children?
And Rotting Baron, I think we're waiting for you in Serious Plots.
Some of them are, yes. It won't be anything violent or obvious, however. If you don't want Brinika cheated out of her soul, she can just say no to whatever the children offer. :smalltongue:
EDIT: I should say that the she'll risk losing her soul. She can still play games or make deals with the children, but she might make it unscathed either way.
My GLoG family, the Applehills, have been through enough that I really can't bear to do child-endangerment or the like with them. I'm finding the recovery process more interesting to rp than I would any more family trauma.
So probably they won't be undeadtimed around your refugees, though it can be handwaved that they're being well fed offscreen. The halflings cook a prodigious amount of food every day - enough to feed the entire camp plus surprise visitors. If there is extra, it gets put in the freezer and goes into the soup another time.
Yeah, I have no intention of having Brinika participate in this plotline. So she'll mysteriously escape with her soul unscathed. Besides, whether or not people in her homeworld have souls at all is ambiguous, but I'm leaning towards "no".
For Earl:
For Morty:
The children can probably dine with the Applehills offscreen (or on) then, but that's all.
On that note, if someone else is interested in PLAWT (or wants to leave their children out) just say so. It's easier for me, I won't have to spend time bothering every available person under the age of 12. :smalltongue:
Happy, that second pic is almost definitely also for Slii.
*squees a bit at adorable specimens of the order rodentia*
As for the soul plot in GLoG, Julie's two kids certainly won't be participating, being too young and half far-thing, which means their souls are bound to their physical forms and nigh untake-able.
Oh, and Murkus/anyone else with an AMEN character they aren't doing much with, would any of you care to be part of Shayan's plant hybridization experiments? The effects would be varied based on the immune system of the test subject, and could range anywhere from full symbiosis to just a minor version including some lesser regeneration. I didn't expect her to be ready to test it on PCs yet, but Professor Cin's intervention sped things up quite a bit.
Awww. Cute lil' rats. And they look just like one of mine.
Hmm. I'm not sure. I'm attempting to have the musclehead Orrey join AMEN, and he might be interested depending on the benefits. Otherwise, there's not many who'd want to try something like that. Jack couldn't, after all.
As for the plawt, just so everyone knows, one of the refugees taking ownership of another child's soul will have no affect on the child. It will merely be controlled by - and connected to - Jack Empty. He won't actually take the souls unless he wants to get GLoG under his thumb, and that's a whole 'nother issue in itself.
Rats are the most-cute animals. Only dogs are even close.
