But...uhh...maybe he has SUPER driving powers! Like, sending-scariness-over-oceans powerful!
....
Maybe I should shut up and go to sleep. :smalltongue:
No...he's a good driver, but I hate riding with him because it makes me nervous watching him.

Nnnnnactually, although I wouldn't call Fred one, I would bet solid money that at least a couple people here are genuinely, no-foolin', call-the-men-in-the-clean-white-coats whacked.
Also: I'm a decent driver. Not the greatest, but not bad.

Naw, see, we need that, Draggers.
I mean, look at the rest of us.
Player_Zero and I are both cynical, snarkish snobs who rain nonsense and cruel irony down when not trading sexual tension verbal blows.
Coidzor tends towards the wry more than anything.
Assassin89 could definitely be called a pessimist. I'm not sure he's actually been pleased about anything since someone first figured out the whole name-does-not-equal-profession dealie.
We keep ticking off K-Roth.
FredtheFighter's got his own issues to work out.
We need you, Draggers. You're a beam of sunshine on a toxic pond at midnight.

What about me?!
WHAT ABOUT (S)ME(E)?
(The pirate, not our local Lady)
Don't tick off Kaelawrath. The dear fellow is above reproach.
May I please say that I get to learn stage fencing for the play I'm in for a climactic sword duel, and that it excites me?
I'd like to think I'm a little bit sunshiny.

Well, I can't say for stage fencing, but regular fencing is indeed a bucket of awesome. It warms my heart to hear us all chorus "whee, stabbing time!"
Sunshine? We don't need no stinkin' sunshine. Mainly cuz it burns ussss, preciousssss.

Well, it's like that vampire from Drinky Crow said... The one thing in the world we desire more than anything else is to be innocent again, but the sight of innocence drives us to destroy, knowing that it can never be ours.... Yadda, yadda, throw in some zombie-cats, and here I am trying to sell myself to the lynch mob and escape with the gold. :smallwink:
Suffice to say, we kinda need the atmosphere lightened up a bit with someone's bright cheerful smile.

You can sum any movie you like badly within three sentences, doesn't mean you're giving an accurate description.

I have issues? Let me rephrase that, I have issues that are bothering me at the moment? I know that I have problems like anyone else, but nothing that is bothering me right now.
On another note, the weather (where I am anyway) is nice today. Also, I'm going to see Brainiac live at the NEC Symphony Hall next Friday. Explosions.... in a crowded area.... on Friday 13th.... Uh-oh.

You can't rephrase someone else's statements. Especially not into a question.

I meant rephrasing my own words, as in I said "I have issues?" what I meant was "I have issues that are bothering me?", as to say "I have issues?" implies that I believe that I have no problems at all, considering that it is impossible to have a comepletely perfect life, that would be a lie and honesty is something I respect and treasure.
Either you were being serious or a smart-alec.

That doesn't make a great deal of sense. Also yes, I am smart. much smarter than you and therefore you should heed my wise words.

He's right.
Zero, what's a vector? My physics tutor tried to explain it, and it went over my li'l head... If you're going to be nice and explain, please be simple. And if you're going to decline to answer, please, you know. Don't be too harsh.
I'm wet.

Life doesn't make sense, it's something we have to live with. Like "Why is the sky blue? What purpose could the sky being blue have? It doesn't make any sense".
You are smart, you are also older than me and as such have had more time to learn, which is a bit of an advantage. You are smarter than me, I acknowledge that.
What I meant was that I misphrased my words, acknowledged it and corrected it.

Re: The Throne of Thufir's Thoroughly Theoretical and Therapeutic Random Banter #116
A direction, in essence. If you have two axis x and y like I'm sure you're used to then a vector would look like [a, b] where a and b are numbers. It would represent the line going from the point (0,0) to (a,b).

Actually, the sky being blue makes perfect sense. It's the Tyndall effect.
Thanks Zero.

I was using it as an example. Urgh, fine then, think of something that doesn't make sense and use to replace my "Why is the sky blue? Blah blah blah".
Also, I never knew about the Tyndall effect, please elaborate.

I don't think my towel worked, really. The shower left its mark, see. And raining? No! The sun is like a lamp burning up cress in your Year Seven petri dish.

I am proud, today, of my musicianship. I basically improvised a bossa nova, and it actually sounded decent.
Music like that always leaves me in a good mood.

Thanks Kaelaroth, I was wondering why the sky was blue.
Now I need to find out about the biggest question ever.... Why? Why everything? Why anything? Why here? Why us? Why now? The answer to the universe, life, everything. I got it! The answer is.... 42.

I know you're trying to be funny what with the Adams' gag, but be careful. Religious topic? :smalleek:
