Zachariah applies the potions and the two Pokémon feel a bit better. Era tries walking around and performing weak telekinetic tricks to make sure her mind and body are in working order. After a few minutes she says she's ready to fight.

Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
(Major, I'm going to need a diplomacy check.)
You see koffing, trubbish, garbodor, grimer, gengar, stunky, and weezing mixed in and going about. One koffing in the distance smiles before exploding.
(Esprit: Still rolling up a team. How many do you want to face?)

Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
"Hm - looks like your wing is busted up pretty badly." Douglas gingerly ran his hands along its length. "This may take a bit to heal, actually, so let me try to speed it up."
Good, old fashioned bandages. He had to prevent the yanma from moving that wing; that done, the focus became on applying a poultice.
"Choke?" (Is he alright?)
"Hey, this is partially your fault too, Zon." Partially, anyway. "Gotta watch what's going on around you. Glad you were having fun, though - I don't think you've been burned, but wait a moment and I'll check anyway."
"Choke." Zon actually had intended on jumping back in the water as soon as Douglas turned his head away, but Truse held him firmly by the arm instead, shaking his head.
"I can tell you're a meat-eater given those teeth, but here." He said, offering the yanma a couple berries, hoping he guessed the correct flavor. "It'll be a bit before you can move tha wing around, but do you feel a little better?"
Then a pause, and a half-chuckle. "Right, you probably don't understand a word I'm saying." Still, he watched for how the yanma reacted.

Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
Kantolin: the yanma looks better off, and looks up at you. It seems thankful, but unable to lift off.
Major: You hear thoughts from the other pokemon, about whether or not exploding sounded fun right now. Most decide maybe later, though a few on the outskirts do so, sending rocks flying into the sky.
You're beginning to notice that the statues in this garden look really beat up too, as if this happens a lot...
(Hint: Pokemon with natural explosive powers think blow up is a suggestion for a party game.)

Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
"Hey, how's a double battle sound? That way I can send Ambrule back to find the rest of my team for fighting the leader here." Not waiting for a response, Ambrule floats back down the way they came in, phasing through the ceiling at the end. "Hm, guess that answers that."
-
Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
"That is acceptable. Drago, if you would."
The hitmonchan steps forward, hands up.

Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
"Era, ready?"
I have a sense that a poison and fighting type at a poison gym would be prepared for psychic types. Probably knows Sucker Punch or something...
Then Double Team right away.
Won't have the energy to do it during the leader battle.
Merde, je l'ai oublié.
Clairement. Je peux lui rugir.
Oui, mais c'est meilleure, mais il gaspille une chance pour l'attaque. "Well, you will have to use your judgement. I'll be keeping Nox under control in the fight." Use Confusion for most of the fight on the Hitmonchan, and Nox will take whatever fights alongside it. Use Will-o-wisp on Nox's target if you see a chance. He lets out Nox, who roars lazily. "Alright you oversized lizard, let's stay in control this time."

Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
(Misunderstood that for a bit. Okay then. I assume you don't have anyone with a speed over 12? What about 5?)
"Maku, get out here too."
He pulls out a pokeball, and a hariyama pops out, laughing jollily.
"Drago, the dragon. Maku, knock'em off the rung."
Ice coats Drago's fist as he charges Nox, and Maku goes to slam into Era.

Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
Era gets flung at a wall, passing out. I just had to send the ghost to find everyone, didn't I? is (unintentionally) telepathically audible in a very frustrated tone. He sighs and recalls the two fainted Pokémon. "So how much do I owe you?" He directs a thought at Ambrule to not worry about returning and to bring everyone to the center.
-
Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
"Was not specified ahead of time, and the ghost would have been just as easily handled. No charge. Unless you have a scrafty. Have been looking for one."
He turns back to his punching bag, and begins punching.
"Come back when you feel tougher. Was mostly bad luck on your part that got you."

Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
"You two feeling better?"
Somewhat. Wish I worked more on dodging and taking hits at the gym. Maybe I just need to get into a different mindset. Less composed and more relaxed...
"As long as you remain alert."
Naturally.
"And our favorite two headed dragon?"
"ZWEI! (GOOD!)" Everyone just stared.
"What?"
"It speaks!"
"ZWEI! (ZWEI!)"
"Darn, it must come in spurts."
"Well, I think we might be in need of some aid for the team. I was thinking and we can either spend money on two TMs, for Ambrule and Bullet, or one for Era. Though thinking now, the one I had in mind for Bullet would not be as helpful for our current team. Lowering speed is only useful if you can get ahead, which most of you wouldn't...hm, I'm not too cut out for Pokémon strategy." He looks around the Center for an Ace Trainer. Should he find one, he will ask them whether they'd recomend getting a TM for Toxic and teaching it to Ambrule, or teaching Era Thunderbolt. One's good for extra damage and lowering SpD, while the other is good for coverage and general power. He also asks whether teaching Bullet Bulldoze would be a good idea or not.
-
Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
"Well! First things first, then."
He hoisted the yanma, and placed him back on Zon's head.
"There - that'll do for now. If you're still up for it when your wing heals, I'll try to actually catch you then, heh. Let you pick."
"Choke!" (Hi!) Zon repeated. Douglas shook his head.
"Welp! Among other things - Big C is kinda banged up, and now so is Calzoncillo, and if I know Vicuna he'll be a seething ball of rage if he sees Calzoncillo for at least another hour. Let's head back to the pokemon centre for now."
And, leaning on Truse, he did just that - thinking all the way. With the way his new family was reacting to things, he'd have to make sure he got into a lot more battles - help burn off some of Zon's energy, and a good focus for most of the others. Maybe, through this, Winter would warm up to the occasional match... no pun intended with a snover and 'warm'.
Regardless, for now it was centre time - maybe a little relaxation was what he needed. And no sooner did he step through the door than he noticed Zachariah. "Ah, hello again! Relaxing after a day of activities?"
