Pelor is the god of sun, charity, healing, and other goody-two-shoes things, so you'd be rewarded by kiling undead, healing the sick, saving damsels from evil necromancers trying to use virgin blood to summon dracoliches, and other similar situations.
Basically just be a Cleric of Pelor and you should be getting a steady stream of faith points.
I think this is the first time I've seen these mentioned in years, if ever. For some reason they don't get much love.
As for earning more faith points, spending your healing spells on ordinary folk while sharing some of Pelor's wisdom should qualify, at least for the baseline "one point per session" mentioned in the sidebar. Beyond that, it really seems dependent on the situation and how well you roleplay your cleric.
Has your DM agreed to use these? If so, it's worth discussing what your DM considers point-worthy manifestations of faith.
DM has agreed to using them. They love the faith point system so that isn't a problem
Will definitely have a chat about things
Cheers. much appreciated
faith points from pelor are gained the following ways: murdering good aligned undead, summoning demons to burn stuff, throwing planets on the sun so that they "benefit from the light of pelor"
The maximal amount of faith points is gained by summoning a demon to throw a planet covered with only good aligned undead into the sun.
