Indeed. I was really starting to like it. :smallfrown:
So there are various possiblities here...
1. Vespe can learn to draw, therefore taking the role as artist and i'll assume the role as think-tank.
2. Someone else can become main artist, although im not too fond of this idea. Too many people participating and more people to contact.
3. Comic can continue haitus. Probably to summer.
4. I can make my grades suffer, and draw.
5. I can become a genius and learn everything in record time. Too bad i cant really rely on this possibilty.
6. Become a drawing genius and finish a comic in ten seconds. Too bad i cant really rely on this ability either.
7. Draw really fast and have crappy drawings.
8. I can draw and shorten strip significantly. Maybe to one row instead of four.
9. I can quit everything else but draw and do schoolwork. Hmmmm, not really.
10. Hack into the school system at the end of the semester and give myself all A's.
11. Get thrown in jail where i don't care about my grades and can draw all i want.
12. Hire someone to do my classes.
13. Win the lottery and quit school.

Hopefully you guys caught the ones typed in jest. I imagined that i could continue drawing forever, but it turned out that last semester was really easy. =P
Although some weeks the load isn't all that bad. I never got into the mode for drawing. And i haven't been completely interested in the activities going around in the playground.
If I cut down on the detail in the comic, i suppose I could cut down on the time needed to draw a comic. I'm not to good with pasting through my template. Neither is vespe, i thought i sent him a pack of them.
Hmmm, if castaras wants to help....i wonder what would happen if she did.... :smallconfused:
I'd be fine with #8 personally
#8 would be a true comic strip, most people use pages though.
I use comic strips myself in Zombie Stickmen, although that uses old school stickfigures.
I'm fine with number 8.
8 seems like the best choice.
#8, although #10 would be a possibility (but a longshot....)
Why not do 5 and 6? Then you could win school, create all the comics, and still have yonks of free time to do whatever you wanted.
If that doesn't work out, 8 could pass, too.
I'd say #3 or #8 personally, but what's important is what you and Vespe want to do. If you're finding it hard to get into drawing mode between your tons of work, I doubt dropping from several rows to one will make much difference. If you need these spring months to get through your work and refresh yourself then I guess you should do that. It whatever's best for you and your situation, there'll always be the arts n crafts board to come back to!
# 8, and wait for summer.
Assuming none of the jest ones happened. :smalltongue:
3# personally, its up to Mr. Saturn and Vespe though...
I'm talking to vespe about it. Shorter strips means less storyline and less cameo's. Short strips means quicker to the point punchlines. Shorter strips means one panel for dramatic poses.
Stuff.
Definetly 3# then, since your comic was a very good combination of both.
#6! You already are, just not a fast one.
Either that or we be more realistic and say #3.
I think the best idea is to just take your time with whatever you need. Don't rush the comic, I don't think anyone really wants that.
If you can't work on it right now, sad as it may be, we'll just wait.
*AND THEN SHEEPOFOBLIVION SAID UNTO THE THREAD, THERE SHALL BE ANOTHER COMIC!!!!!*
meanwhile, wherever Mr. Saturn is!!!
"hmm... I feel sorta guilty about not making a comic... I guess I could, even if it is only a couple panels long. What's important is that I have fun with it, but don't rush myself. I can turn the little free time which I barely manage to grasp onto into productive, fun comic making time. Even if I have to work on a comic for several days, the satisfaction of making one is great, and I can find time, for a better, Ring V'ier filled future!!!"
And he did make a new comic, and didn't feel rushed about it, but instead had tons of fun, and provided the faithful readers who waited for so long with another awesome masterpiece of art, and then managed to do all his homework as well.
"gee, after I made that comic, my day was so much better, maybe I'll make more, more often!"
Gasp, my shame has the light of day shine yet again on it. I was sort of hoping that my failure of a comic would be left to the depths of despair as it deserves.
As it turns out I still didn't really have the time to draw a comic. And I knew that if I drew one, people would be asking for more, probably. Maybe. Perhaps. and that people would take advantage of my inherent indecision right? Uh huh? Agreed?
And it didn't help that I went down to Mexico with my church during spring break and now have school falling down all over my after break. And the time before break started with me cramming hours of SSBB til the time I left. Not to mention that I still try to cram SSBB during the week under the aforementioned dogpile of school.
So I decided that when I'm ready to continue the comic, I would and we'll start from there.
sorry I guess.... I didn't want to rush, I just want to make sure that this doesn't fall into oblivion, it was already starting to appear in my waiting room (sheep of oblivion, sheeps are awesome, so they run oblivion, (don't ask...)) aka it was getting forgotten, and I wanted to make sure that one of my favorite comics out there doesn't die unloved and prematurely...
If nothing else, it's still in the Webcomic index
