Awesome, the captain's cool and I love the way the combat looks.
Ah... well. I'm going to be in New York for the next few days, and thus won't be able to update again until Saturday. But as compensation, today you all get a special, six-panel The Two Brothers! I would've managed to update more today, but for some reason my computer was unwilling to access GiantITP. Hmmm. #13!
To be continued....
Damn, it'll be worth the wait, unless of course you're open to guest comics:smallwink:. I know you don't like OOTS style(for this comic that is), but that's what mine would have to be, of coruse it'd have no bearing on the actual story.
Also even if I wanted to do one, I have to do my own webcomic and revise for my last exam so I might not be able to, anyway, what say you to that?
Heck, who ever said I don't like OOTS-style? I like it a lot, I just don't draw that way. If anyone wants to do a guest comic, be... well... my guest! I just won't be able to put on the first post until Saturday. (EDIT::: Unless It's here before 9-ish tonight. I have to get up really early tommorow.)
Cool, I won't be done by 9 tonight(wherever you are), because it's nearly one here, But I'll try and do a guest comic.
I went back and editted my post because I realised you must like the OOTS style otherwise you wouldn't be on here, I just meant in the context of the webcomic.
Actually, I've been wondering what the Teutonic Knights would look like in OOTS style.
ALSO:  Yeah, I forgot to take time zones into account. I meant 9-ish Forum standard time.
*waits for guest comic*
Good luck with your trip! :D
Here's the first guest comic, I may do more in the time Beholder1995 is away. I decided to stay true to the comics three panel set up(that's not counting the last strip). So Here it is.
Hoo- Ellis Island, Liberty Island, Yankee Stadium, three-hour boat tours... New York is impressive. But I'm back, with comic #14!
And Oregano- awesome comic. That's going up on the main post. Thanks!
P.S. In panel 3 Fred's helmet got a teeny bit smudged. I hope it's not an issue. :smallwink:
Woop, the proper comic's back and it's back on top form, I think the smudging made it look like he was battle damaged and a bit of a badass to be honest.
Glad you like the guestcomic, I was planning on doing more but it just didn't happen, I may do them another time, it was fun to make, especially with the short strip set up, you have less chance of stretching things needlessly.
What do you think of the OOTS Fred and Philmoore?
OOTS Fred & Phil look great, and made me grin. You're pretty good at doing them.
Thanks, but I just noticed an omission on my part, they don't have sleeves also sleeves may have cluttered them so maybe it's for the best.
I was also wondering(well actually my brother thought of it when he saw me drawing the guestcomic) if you'd mind Frederick and Philmoore having a cameo in my comic?
Meh, I was bored. :smalltongue:

Took like 10 mins, was just practice. :smalltongue:
Wow, that looks über cool Tiffanie, you're really good by the looks of it.
Thanks for the compliments, but I'm awful at animating anything. :smalltongue:
As for the green helmet.. it was gray.. :smallconfused:
Yay! Awesome new comic!
Yay! Awesome animation!
Yays all around!
I found this deep within the bowels of my Art Folder. This is essentially a primordial precursor to what would become The Two Brothers. It was originally intended to be a spoof of Age of Empires II (if you haven't played the game to a great extent, this comic will be utterly lost on you.) I made this one a while ago, but never followed up on it. Anyway, I thought I'd show it here. Behold!
(I was not as careful with pencil lines back then, it seems.)
haha, that's funny, how did you develop the style of drawing by the way, it's just fun looking.
The art isn't even that bad in the old comic.
Well, that style originated with OOTS. I used to- believe it or not, freehand my drawings as utter ripoffs of Order of the Stick. Over time, however, the hands and bodies became more rounded, and they got feet, legs, arms, and necks, to the point where only the round heads and lack of noses were hints as to my style's origins. So I guess that, in a way, my comic was also made possible by OOTS and Mr. Burlew.
I take it you don't play Age of Empires.
Nope, well i've played it once and one my friends was playing it the other week but other than that, nope. I take it Skirmishers are/were overpowered and tend to destroy units? It's still funny though even if you don't play it(just probably not as funny).
It's a great art style by the way.
@^- Nah Skirmishers were pretty awful units, all they did was throw these really weak spears. Mix that in with the fact that it would take like 100+ hits for a skirmisher to kill a Teutonic knight, and you have allot of wasted spears.
I used to play a great deal of Age of Empires, ironically, my favorite units were the Teuton's special unit, the Teutonic knight.. <.<
I've lost my cd though. :smallfrown:
damn, I got it the wrong way around, I need to get some more pop culture.:smallfrown:
Teutonic Knights are cool all around anyway.:smallcool:
Aha! And you thought you weren't getting one today! #15!
Apparently what Fred says in panel 3 is so bad that even muffled it has to be censored. :smalleek:
:smallamused:
What can I say? I couldn't resist. Flat out could. Not. Resist.
(For more info on Fredius and Philius, see the Guest Comics/Fanart/Random other stuff section.)
Hahaha nice, but enough of this madness.
Ohh, I'm screwed now.:smalleek:
Too long it has been... but here's #16! (Sorry there wasn't one yesterday- I was cleaning out my basement with my brother, and have just overcome a sever case of Cartoonist's Block :smallwink:)
I couldn't sleep, so I decided to make The Two Brothers Fanart! Whoo!
I know Oregano already did this, but I'd like to give my take on Fred and Phil in OotS form!
