Playable Goblin
I admit that the absence of Schmoopy's picture in his dialogue bubble weakens my belief that he is going to be a PC.
Maybe you don't get the picture until you become a PC?
My bet is that either Dire will be gone by the time Erald reaches where he landed or he is going to wake up in time to fight and kill Erald. Any other way and it wouldn't happen off screen due being a combination of both too important and not surprising enough.
Schmoopy saved the wrong kobold?!?
If he did, Ardon's not surprised enough. And I foresee character development for him. Anyway, we'll see.
Well, a group who typically live underground and do nothing except dig tunnels trapped inside a fallen tower? Face it. We'll never see them again.
Interesting. Poor kid.
Well, I was almost right. Ardon did get the boss kobold to evacuate, and the workers are safe. Just not the Peanuts. :smallamused:
Who wants to bet that the TPP will want to stop Ardon wrecking the bosses day?
Ah, good old-style roleplayers moral. You can treat anybody else like crap, but the party is sacred.
Nightmare is really great as a melodramatic villainous buffoon.
So was that the really powerful daily that the Avenger Prime now gives her?
Makes sense considering the word of god explanation for why the Avenger Prime considers Ell to be worthy now.
I wonder what the stats on that power are. Something like an immediate interrupt that negates the next damage event the target would take would fit and be pretty good, but I'm not sure if that's enough to merit being a daily and described as "really strong". Damage immunity for 1 round, maybe?
I'm not sure I like that interpretation. It basically means every fanatic is now a paladin.
Then again, it's his comic and he can use whatever interpretation he wants.
And according to his own post you too can use whatever interpretation you want. I was just saying that the daily power fits LSN's explanation, but that doesn't mean it is the only possible interpretation.
Edit: So...any theories on how Peanut manages to survive anyways? I doubt LSN is going to kill him off like that.
Ell is such a ball-buster.
I fairness, this could have been avoided if she hadn't been too busying bying into the TPP's BS.
As for rescuing peanut, I'm thinking the squirrels will have something to do with that.
Other then that? I'm actually more worried about how were gonna fix Odi.
And you know all the other dumbies. Though maybe the spell will just slowly dissipate without the cauldron.
Oh god.
Peanut is going to end up as some super-intelligent entity after falling into that, isn't he?
Odi is a remove curse spell away from being fine.
Is that a thing you can do in 4E?
I have no idea about the particular rules of 4e, but a quick google search shows "remove affliction" as a ritual that will remove curses. It is level 8 though, so it doesn't seem to be trivial. I'm sure there is an easier way to do it.
Regardless, the odds of Odi being gone from the story for good are completely 0%. He has entire unresolved plot lines.
maybe they gav give him some intelligence boosting buff or something that will at least temporarily make him smart and normal again, so he's constantly going back and forth between his old self and a bubling idiot for awhile until they come up with a more permanent solution.
... ... ...
Well crap. This, is gonna be interesting.
Oh, and Christmas day to boot. Nice.
