V's complexity and simmering temper clearly makes him a soup. Soup is the more intelligent choice and that's what V is all about. His thoughts practically boil over, again a very soupish trait. I thought it would be important to get this settled.

Lets get theMindflsquid thingy back and ask him.
Obviously he's a salad.
- He recently exhibited tactical reasoning resembling stale croutons (old, bland, and easily crushed).
- He has shown grace under pressure resembling iceberg lettuce (thin, flaky, and easily torn).
- He is regarded by many as resembling spinach (using V is good for them, but it leaves a bad taste in their mouths).
- His spells resemble cherry tomatoes (bright, flashy spells that are eaten in one bite) rather than a good soup (long-lasting spells that are savored).
- His vocabulary resembles feta cheese (huge mouthfuls scattered all over at every opportunity).
- His hair resembles purple onions topping a salad.
- He has a Soul Splice vinaigrette poured all over him and oozing into every fiber of his being--you can try to scrape it off your salad, but it's still soaked in pretty well.
All in all, definitely a salad.
Obviously V is the applesauce you can ask for instead.
Unusual tasting and difficult to identify what kind of apple it is.
I'm starting to think that there are fewer things that we do know about V than things we don't. Gender? Alignment? Reasons for adopting children? Soup/salad? etc. Maybe V is a thin vegetable soup with many large chunks or a salad with so much dressing, it's served in a bowl.
Paper, he's an elf and elves are all about eco-friendliness.
V: Nature or Nurture?
Elves in general, yes. V would use whatever's most efficient.
I think we've got ourselves a forum game!
Nurture. Both V's parents are/were rangers, and it was Aarinadrius' influence that led V to being an antisocialnerdgeekwizard.
Which is more important to V: family or friends?
Since Optimystick didn't ask -- flour or corn tortilla?
Flour; V is going to find what is easiest and simplest, not going to work to find something that is better for hir.
V:Pepsi or Coke?
Cherry Coke, I guess.
V: male or female?
What? :smallconfused:
sms, email would be too much a waste of V's time.
V: Great taste, or less filling?
It really comes down to, he's an elf, so obviously he's a salad. I suppose he's lucky the fiends didn't make him steamed vegetables.
(I'm now waiting to see who has familiarity with Glorantha....)
I'm assuming you meant great taste or more filling, in which case the answer is obviously great taste. For instance, V would be a Filet Mignon while Roy would be a large porterhouse.
V: Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle?
You just won this thread.
I think after doing http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0504.html he will want to go to mac.
Definitely a PC. It has the computing power, but breaks down when you need it most.
V: Fire, Water, Earth, or Wind?
V is a PC. So are Roy, Elan, Haley...
FWEoW: Have you read the early bits of the comic :smalltongue: FIRE!
V: Cat person or Dog person?
Clearly a cat person - expects the whole world to revolve around himself... oh, wait, no, that's not a cat person, that's a cat.
I'm guessing you're either not an American or not old enough - "Great taste / less filling" is an old advertising slogan.
