The end of Ctrl-Alt-Del Part 2
So now that the previous thread was locked out. I am starting a second thread for snarkers and commentators.
Here's a previous thread as par the tradition of continuous threads.
- The end of Ctrl-Alt-Del
http://www.cad-comic.com/cad/20140519
And a new comic.
-
Re: The end of Ctrl-Alt-Del Part 2
I have to admit to being confused as to why the last one got locked for length at 46 pages when the usual max is 50, but whatever. So this is not going to end well. He is trying to scam an artifact of such power it can give you the destructive power to force entire empires to back down off a woman who has been repeatedly tortured trying to protect it, and some mass murdering lunatic bounty hunter is now going to be after him.

Re: The end of Ctrl-Alt-Del Part 2
I must say I'm most deeply surprised by the lack of copy-paste art.

Said before, I'll say it again...Buckley can actually do uncharacteristically good work when he's not trying to be Penny Arcade 2: Gamer Humor Bugaloo. There's actual talent in there somewhere, like a fashion design prodigy forced to work in a 3rd-world sweatshop making knockoff Nike sneakers.

Re: The end of Ctrl-Alt-Del Part 2
Dunno if you noticed, but pages until 11 are now coloured.

So anyone ever wonder why they put an easy puzzle on bombs in all games, including ancient ones.

I have no words, so I'll be silent. But this has to be seen.

Re: The end of Ctrl-Alt-Del Part 2
That was posted in the last CAD thread, but it always deserves a link. It's the best thing to ever come out of this webcomic.

Ancient as in The Eldan relics having these devices before they disappeared.
Then again, this is the game where you can collect body parts for loot and sell them. It would be justifiable if you are scientist, Engineer, settlers, or any technology-savvy class.

So any Wildstar Cowboys playing too much time on housing rather than the game itself. Now, there's a new motive for selling Credds.

Boring!

Re: The end of Ctrl-Alt-Del Part 2
At first, I've thought that the last comic was an incredibly lazy joke. Then I remembered about the latest WoW addon.

So WoW is becoming like Dr. Who and those alternate dimension?
-
Re: The end of Ctrl-Alt-Del Part 2
It's not a WoW joke, it's a Heroes of the Storm joke...aka Blizzard All-Stars, aka DOTA: Official Blizzard Edition, starring the famous characters from every Blizzard franchise beating the hell out of each other with no regards for lore or story. Hence the space marine and paladin.
Legal disclaimer: The use of the word 'joke' is meant in a strictly objective fashion integral to the perceived intent of the artist, and is not intended as a definitive statement regarding any actual humor to be found in the comic under question.

Re: The end of Ctrl-Alt-Del Part 2
There's also an incredibly obvious reference to the much-derided Ancient Aliens guy from the History Channel.

So anyone with UFC experiences. I just felt that making homosexual jokes about UFC is kinda clinche now, like how NASCAR is being about rednecks and turning left.

Re: The end of Ctrl-Alt-Del Part 2
I really, really hate it when webcomics try to shove memes in. Memes come and go in a couple weeks, and that's about as long as that comic will be funny.

I knew I had read that joke somewhere before.
Classy.

Umm, it would be better if Raiden (Metal Gear series, aka the cyborg with white hair) was naked and holding his private parts while wearing Raiden (Mortal Kombat, aka the asian lightning shooting guy) hat.
:smalltongue:Can't I make Sons of Liberty joke?
-
Re: The end of Ctrl-Alt-Del Part 2
It probably would've been funnier if it just had the Raiden from Rising crushing Scorpion's spine or something. I mean, the Rising jokes are pretty obvious.

So I know I played Wildstar but the first card keeps happening to me when I am a tank during the Beta despite being familiar with telegraphs.

So any DnD players who accidentally (Quotes or no quotes) shot their own team mates after rolling too many dices?
Or he mixes the rules from Warhammer Fantasy, especially Skavens.

Im pretty sure she is just an ass and thought it would be funny to shoot him in the hand. No rules that say you cant attack a party member right?

Re: The end of Ctrl-Alt-Del Part 2
Does anyone think the next page isn't going to be:
Quote:
Luke, I am your father.
?

Almost got it right.
Anyways...
DAMMIT BUCKLEY. You were THIS close to telling a complete, actually good story arc. And then you ruin it at the last possible moment with a LoLViolence joke.
