Re: A title page for a comic
I tried the link, but it didn't work (this may just be my terrible computer). Also, note that this area of the forum has fewer regular users and posts than others, so it might just be that not many people saw the thread.

looks like the image is really compressed to. i'll find a better uploader and edit.

I like the detached feel of it, I feel set up for some surreal stuffs.

i was about to deny that, but looking at a few pages... i guess you're right, some parts do get kind of surreal. lolz
Re: A title page for a comic
I like the wide angle perspective, certainly gives it a unique look!
The wide anlge makes it hard to make out the details on the person. Looking at the picture as a whole, I found it hard to understand how the arms are exactly positioned and the figure seems too busy with detail. I think it could do with less details on the clothes, but this of course depends entirely on how you intend people to view the comic.
Do I understand correctly, that the name of your webcomic is 'Ellenate', the chapter title is "An intro for the start of the beginning ..." and "Just taking it all in." is like a chapter quote?

That was on purpose. the art in the beginning of the comic is really loose. I didn't want the reader going, "why does the title page look so much better than the comic" that's why i kept it as simple line art-

or at least i thought i did, should've been more aware of the line weight. i can go into the file and erase some of the busier lines. also the arms behind the head assume the audience knows how the characters arms look like, so the perspective could be really confusing.

Yes.

more or less, yes. it's like casual activities that certain characters took part in before the actual events of the chapter.
it seems like those three points of information were clear to understand though... right? (not sure how i'd clarify the "just taking it all in". Once they start reading the story, it should just click that it was just a character in their everyday life.)

"moar" that legit almost brought tears to my eyes.
i really don't see any major roadblocks in my way as far as coding goes, so i'd say right at the start of the new year. though perhaps i'm being too optimistic.
If everything goes to plan though, i'll finally make my comic's thread in the webcomic section a week before the release. (which now that i'm looking at it... that's Christmas. i can't imagine that being a good date for it. maybe the 26th or the 23rd... eh i should've thought that through more. lol)
