The Sleeping Goblin:

The Sleeping Goblin was named after a friendly goblin that asked for shelter in the present cook's house. There is an upstairs, There are private rooms for your needs, and we can serve whatever you may happen to want, and our cook/bartender is always ready to serve.

Sleeping Goblin I

Menu:
Dishes: Turkey leg: A good tasting, lightly seasoned turkey leg, Marty makes them very juicy. A delicious meal for one not bold enough to try the other dishes.
Kortis Leaf Salad: Kortis leaf is a type of bland, dry, and tasty leaf. When served in a large dosage, it advances willpower. Served with sauce.
Artisan Bread: Marty's special artisan bread, he makes it out of homemade wheat. He uses macadamia, pecan, and walnut nuts in the bread.
Bean soup: This warm soup is made with a variety of beans, such as Lupin beans, white beans, lentil beans, black beans, kidney beans, and navy beans. Yum.
Assorted meats: Marty can serve various types of meats ranging from, chicken, to even the more exotic kinds such as destrachan meat.
Pasta Marty serves, spaghetti, risotto, Frittata, lasagne, gnocchi, calamare, scungille, calzone, sausage with peppers and onions, parmegiana (eggplant, chicken, and broccoli)
Drinks:
Beers, wines, and spirits:Marty has just about every kind of drink available in his kitchen.
Juices: Marty has many types of fruits, the juices range from orange, lemonade, watermelon, to even radish juice.
Other: Marty has a stock of frozen blood in the freezer for the more....exotic requests.
Desserts:
Dessert foods:Fudge, cheesecake, (vegetarian or otherwise), cookies, fruit cakes, and various pies, ranging from cherry, blueberry, strawberry, and even carrot pie. :smalltongue:
Other: Customers are free to request other meals, Marty may or may not have the requested meal.

Note: Fights allowed.

Rooms:

Marty's Room:

Marty's room has purple walls with white outlines. His room has a nice purple carpet salvaged from the Aceford Manor fire. The carpet is warm and fuzzy, there is an odd bulge in the middle of the carpet. On Marty's desk there is an old portrait of Marty, Marty's father, Marty's mother, and Shada. Marty looks happier than anyone has ever seen him. His hair is perfectly done, his eyes shine, and he holds his wife's waist. His wife looks just as happy as him. His Mother looks very happy but his Father is frowning at Marty. Marty has it facing the only window in his room. Marty's bed has a nice blue blanket made of a warm material. Marty's pillows are soft and fuzzy. Marty has a white closet with gold knobs. His clothes hang on white hangers. Marty is very neat and tidy. He has a very small bathroom with a small shower. Marty is a very clean person. Marty has a drawer. The drawer is black with purple knobs. Inside the drawer is a gift addressed to Marty from Shada, it reads, Dear Marty,
Open this when you're ready.
Love,
Shada.
The lower drawer is locked. Marty has the key. Under the bed is a burnt metal chest that is missing a key. The room is cozy.

The Main Room:

The downstairs is warm and bright. A magical fire is always burning, the fire is blue. There are five nice tables with four tables each. There is a long bar. Behind the bar there is a long rack filled with various alcohols, juices, and mixes. Behind the bar is a door with a shiny window. The door leads to the kitchen. The inns walls are brick. The roof is very tall. The room all in all radiates warmth and kindness. Marty likes the room clean. There are four windows.

Kitchen:

The kitchen is Marty's room. The walls are white and shining. Marty has a huge spice rack filled with every spice in existence. The spices are arranged via alphabetical order. The spices are so varied that the spice rack seems to be a rainbow mix of bright and dull colors. There are every type of cookers, ovens, and microwaves. A wall of pans hang on the left wall. Marty's white protective clothes hang on the wall. A large sink is perfectly clean and two sponges lay inside. There are two fridges filled with food. Marty loves this room.

Elkandar's Room:

Elkandar's room has a nice gray wall, with white outline. There is a small balcony jutting out the inn. The balcony overlooks Inside. The view of the sunset is good on the balcony. There is a large wooden closet with nice white knobs. Inside is a selection of Elkie's clothes. There are two drawers filled with Elkandar's undergarments. There is a small vase filled with flowers on one drawer. Elkandar's bed is rather large. The satin covers a re very comfy and smooth. The pillows are soft and squishy. Hanging on a wall via a mantle is Elkandar's lute, shining in it's case. He has a small bookcase filled with some books. The room is small but comfy.

Tyalla's/Shada's Room:

Tyalla and Shada share this room. There are two beds in this large room. The walls are a nice dark green texture with black outline. Plants hang from the ceiling and various multicolored flowers lying in bright vases litter the room. The ceiling has plants hung in the intricate rafters. The room smells richly like a sweet mix of flowers, pollen, and honey. There are two large oak closets. One is filled with Tyalla's clothes while the other is filled with Shada's. There are two drawers, each with a plant on them. Inside Tyalla's drawer are an assortment of small clothes, such as socks, and hidden underneath is a box with her wedding ring inside. Shada's drawer has her private clothes inside. Shada's blade is leaning against the wall when not in use. Shada's bed has a dark purple satin sheet with a black comforter. Her black pillows are very soft. Tyalla's bed has a green comforter and white sheets. There is an old portrait of a countryside on the right wall. The room is very nice albeit slightly crowded.

Room Eleven:

This room is always locked. There is no way inside. The only way to enter would be by somehow breaking the iron locks. Marty has the only key to unlock the door. He never ever uses it. There are odd sounds coming from the door occasionally. Odd music blasts from this door every once in a while. There is a constant bright light peering from a crack under the door.

The Cellar:

The door to get down here is also locked. Marty and Griktak have skeleton keys that unlock all doors in the inn except room 11. Only Marty has the key to that one. Inside the cellar is a large amount of barrels filled with various wines, spirits, and beers. There is a rat problem down here. There is a false barrel. Inside the large barrel is a tunnel. Wide enough for someone to crawl inside. Marty has never been down there. He is unaware of the things existence. The cellar is rather boring apart from the false barrel.

Shada! Shada?! Hello!? Er....What are you?! Bu-....WEll, um.....hmm..... Marty waves a hand in front of Shada. Hello!? Please don't be dead.... Elkandar and Tyalla would hear Marty yelling like a madman. :smalltongue: Marty tries to poke Shada's nose. Hello!? Shada!? What happened? Are you hurt? Marty tries to take the basket and set it behind the counter. Marty looks absolutely terrified. Hmm.....I wonder if she can hear me? Please be Ok.


Far Away, Cylar Palace, Throne Room-Dungeons

Thenadier finishes his conversation with Lord Sebastien. Thenadier limps down the palace throne room's stairs before ordering a trio of guards to accompany him. Thenadier heads to the lower dungeons. He has been using his cane often lately, his leg had been hurting. Damn Aceford. Thenadier growls angrily before marching therough the dungeon doors. Alright you scum! Up! Head count! Thenadier walks down the hall of cells taking attendance. Alright! Prisoner 346810!? Stand up! A frail, thin woman stands up in a cell. Yes? whispers the starved woman. Speak up! People don't mumble when they speak to me! A man sticks his fingers out of the near cell, trying to grab Thenadier. Thenadier is fast and swirls his cane around, SNAP! The man's fingers break as Thenadier's cane strikes them. The poor man whines and yells. One of the guards unlock the cell and drag the one man out. The man yells, No! Stop! Please! NO! Thenadier sneers, You attacked a police officer. Assault. You are guilty and will suffer. Are you aware of the punishment? The prisoner whimpers. How much do you value your eyes? Spend your brief time with them well. Take him to the gauging room. Heat up the poker too. Thenadier is emotionless and turns to the woman. Flora Rightly, you will serve Cylar. You are required. I believe you knew prisoner 24601? Thenadier growls. Marius? Thenadier snaps his cane at her cell bars. Yes! Your old "friend" is a criminal.... Then? What happened to you? My name is Inspector Thenadier, you will address me by my name. Flora's pink eyes look over poor Thenadier. Why? Thenadier laughs, it's a cold sound. You know why woman. Guards! Open the cell, then follow me. Thenadier escorts Flora and the guards to the throne room. The gates to the dungeon close as Thenadier leaves. Flora is lead to the throne room to talk to Lord Sebastein. Thenadier heads to the Arcana tower. He limps up the flights of stairs before reaching the very top. Thenadier observes the kingdom. He hears a man preaching in the street. More rebels. The bloody idiots are staging a revolution. Not on my watch....Listen to the mongrels....

Cylar-Streets
A dark haired man with a goatee stands behind a podium, he yells to the street pedestrians
Ow do you do? My name's Toque! These are my people. Here's my thoughts! "Not much to look at, nothing posh Nothing that you'd call up to scratch.This is my school, my high society Here in the slums of Cylar! We live on crumbs of humble piety Tough on the teeth, but we get by!"
Think you're poor? Think you're free? FIGHT WITH ME!When's it gonna end?
When will we rise! Something's gotta happen now or something's gonna give,
It'll come, the day will come! Where the leaders of the land? Where are the swells who run this show?
See our children fed, help us in our shame something for a crust of bread in all the god's names! With all the anger in the land, how long before the judgment day? Before we cut the fat ones down to size? Before the barricades arise?!!

The crowd cheers for Toque, Hurrah! DOWN WITH SEBASTIEN!

Toque continues his speech, Watch out for old Thenadier! The busybody would prefer to leave us to die in the streets, the crook would rather have us live as slaves of the law! He's worse than any of them! He's a bloody tyrant! DOWN WITH THENADIER!


The crowd cheeres, meanwhile poor Thenadier listens. Charming.... Thenadier heads down and signals for various guards to calm the crowd. Thenadier heads to the square, Toque escapes. Listen people of Cylar. Toque is a madman. Insane. Ignore him. Anyone disagree? Thenadier's voice is commanding as he addresses the crowd. Yeah! I disagree! yells a man. Guards quickly grab him. Thenadier walks to the man calmly. You are an idiot....You know that. In spite of the fact you are not strong, smart, or even clean you resist the law. People like you should be slaughtered like pigs. You're under arrest for disrespecting the government. To the prison with you... The man goes in peace. Having, in his opinion, served his country. He didn't last a week.....

((Yay new thread! ...Tyalla has a room too! Currently it's the one with the blood splattering the sheets, and crumbled black dust everywhere from absorbed leaves... ))

Tyalla's still quite tired. She stands and limps back into her room, letting Elkandar have some time to think for a bit. She hates to destroy such a beautiful field, but the grass will grow back and she needs the energy yet again.

No response but- hey, wait, there IS a response at last! Shada slowly closes the basket, puts it gently down and the floor, and turns away. There is still no pain or emotion registering on her face, but by the way she moves, almost trance-like, it's probably shock.

Marciano sneaks here unnoticed. He activates a magic item that places a forcefield around the Goblin. Alrigh' Rat-man, lead the big rat-man to break down the door. I'll follow with Ven. We're after the one in the magenta coat! Ready when ya' are rat-man!


Teleported wizards for hire.

Marty's ring glows. He turns from Shada and sees that Marty's clone, which is a holographic image, disappears. Marty's mirror image was accompanied by the wizard and Lumia. Real Marty nods. Hi....That was my mirror image. We haven't really met yet.....I need help! Shada, she's not responding to anything!

"That's a very subtle plan you got there Marciano. Bursting in doesn't scream malicious intent or anything."

Ven's voice is clearly dripping with sarcasm.

"How about this: I enter the building and lure Marty out here. Once he's out here Marciano then places the force-field around the inn to prevent his friends from aiding him. We surround him and then it's easy money from there. What do you say?"


As he finishes speaking Ven notices a gnoll exit through the front door and walk away.

"That's perfect."

Outside the Inn

Slii shakes his head roughly, fingering one of the teeth that line his cloak.

"Slii says that plan is good, but we must consider potential for target's escape. If forcefield does not entrap this man-thing, he can hide-flee from us quick-fast. Must set trap before luring him out, yes?" Slii withdraws a coil of foul looking rope from beneath his shirt, made of braided rat-tails and briefly glowing a sickly yellow before returning to its normal state.

"Den-mother is good for trap-snares. Slii will lay her by the door, and when this Marty is lured out, will grab-snatch him. Then forcefield goes up, yes?" Nearby, Furt gives an impatient snort, and slinks into the shadows further away from the door. If all goes according to plan, the rat-ogre shall not be needed, it seems.

Elio and Romeo are most certainly transported here. On hearing of the unresponsive woman he springs to action. "Romeo check her pulse! I'll check her breathing, and check for anything magical." He'll proceed to do just that before asking, "What was she doing right before this?"

Lumia just sort of stands there, blinking quite a bit.

I well..She uh....She was shocked....badly Marty is trying to keep Shada's privacy.

Marciano grins at Ven. Grantaire, Marciano's sidekick, who hafd been wandering the streets catches up and pats Marciano. I'm 'ere!

[Outside the Inn]

"Well, alright then. By the way, did I ever mention how much I hate your accent?"

Ven waits patiently as Slii sets up the trap for Morty. Assuming there's no issue he turns to Slii.

"Alright, be prepared rat."

Ven walks over to the door and looks back at his partners. He gives a silent nod to them and proceeds to open the door. With a quick glance around he notices several people in the main room of the inn. Two people are inspecting a woman who looks to be in shock of some sort. Marty stands still as he talks to these unknown people.

"What the...?"

Ven recollects his thoughts and speaks up.

"You there in the magenta clothing! It seems as if one of your recently departed patrons has been injured right outside the inn. He needs assistance immediately!"

Shada's alive. She's breathing. But she's just not responding to anything. Her eyes are glassy, staring ahead as images of blood and gore and a darling little woven basket filled with torn clothing dance behind them.

What?! Did I miss someone!? Oh my gods! Marty tries to rush outside, Lumia, help me! Marty walks outside.

Outside the Goblin

Slii nods to Ven, and sets the snare, Denmother responding to his thoughts as he tosses one end of the chaos-tinged rope near the door. It will lunge as soon as Slii has Marty in his sights, attempting to snatch at his ankle and haul him away from the tavern.

"Chkt-chkt! Now man-thing, activate the field!" The rat catcher chitters under his breath.

[Outside the Inn]

As they begin to rush towards the entrance of the inn Ven curses under his breath.

"Damn it."

He disappears back outside and is waiting for them to appear, a few feet to the right of the door in ambush. As he does so he sees the new person nearby Marciano.

"How many more surprises are we going to have?"

Marty runs out and the rat rope catches his leg. Wha-?! Ooof.... Grantaire throws the net at Marty.

M-Marty? It's Shada. Oh Andaress, my sword! Where is it? She flounders around, finding her gleaming longsword on the floor and scooping it up before charging after the completely insane half-elf.

The basket flashes before her eyes, making her pause momentarily. Marty? Where are you?

If Lumia emerges right behind Marty, Ven will lunge from the shadows behind her and probably grab her by the neck and place a dagger against her throat + pull her away from the inn.

Outside the Goblin

Furt lunges from the shadows at Grantaire, trying to snatch the net in his teeth before it can prevent Marty from being pulled away.

Slii merely pulls harder on the rope for now, not having anything else to do unless a fight breaks out.

She asks, remarkably calmly, as she's pulled away from the inn.

"Romeo, follow them. Keep them safe, I'll be there shortly." Romeo follows his masters orders to protect Marty and the armorless fighter, running out to see the chaotic scene.

Elio stays behind. "He went outside, dear. But stay calm. You've apparently been through something quite shocking. Let's just sit you down I'll help Marty. I'm Elio, by the way."

Ven sees his partners engaged in some sort of conflict outside.

(Well, I think Lumia kinda fell out of the posting order, as she was dragged away from the fight, and as such, would probably be fairly hard to find while there's chaos of a fight going on, right?)

Lumia says with a slight shrug. Slight shrug only, as she'd rather not slit her own throat for them.
