lemme toss a perception check to see if i can read the gor any better

Nice try. ;)
As for that perception check, the Gor seems tense. He doesn't think he can outrun you, if you ran down the elk; or atleast he doesn't want to turn his back on you. He's ready to fight if he has to. But he's not about to pounce; he's waiting for you to act, before he reacts.

personally, ill toss a CK norsca roll to see what i know of necromancers
[roll0]
Almost nothing. You understand the principle - magic to animate and compel the dead to fight. But the magic of Chaos and the magic the necromancers use does not seem to draw from the same source; the Dark Gods do not use necromancy, almost ever. It's very unusual for such a practitioner to be this close to the Chaos Wastes. The limits of his power, you cannot estimate.

A great fightback, but let's see where Jorunn is up to first. Looks like that reroll succeeds, so you ablate one attack; but two land. One's for 12, one's for 11. You're toughness 5 in Bear form with 1 point of armor, so that's 6 and 5 wounds. A lucky opening assault by the gouls knocks Jorunn down to 8/19 wounds.
I also need two -10% toughness tests from you, one for each attack that landed, to see if he takes an extra 2 wounds from one or both attacks.
