Also, Orcas are mammals so a female humanoid orca could reasonably expected to have mammary glands of some kind, and thus feminine breast structure.

Totally using the Dragonborn Monotreme thing. And adding Platypusborn.

Those are pretty good, thanks.
I tried doing a google search for related stuff but I couldn't find anything, maybe because it's sort of a weird topic or I just wasn't using the right search terms.

Well, that's canon so...
Anyway, IIRC the explanation was that Dragons in general were Monotremes.

I guess it makes sense, other wise Dragons would have a Reptile trait on them in 3.5 and on, however where in 4e and on does it say that about Dragonborn?

For the life of me I can't remember.
I was either in a "Races" book or one of the "Dragons" books.

Bolded is incorrect.

So is there also a "mammalian" descriptor or subtype?

No, I believe that most humanoids are assumed to be mammalian unless otherwise stated (hence the need for a Reptillian subtype).

Re: D&D Demotivators X: X Never marks the spot
(Reptillian) is a rather useless subtype, though. I don't recall it coming up anywhere other than as a Favored Enemy option.

It's basically there to trigger Scalykind effects.
Also, anyone want a specific Demotivator?

Re: D&D Demotivators X: X Never marks the spot
I'm of the opinion that female lizard people carry eggs in their 'breasts.' It's the only explanation I can think of.

So some sort of skin pouch/pocket.

Re: D&D Demotivators X: X Never marks the spot
Eggsacs. I think that's the word.
Considering fish from RL, there must be a few species whose males carry the eggs in their eggsacs...

Seahorses, kind of. Rather than the female laying fertilized eggs which are then carried around by the male, the female deposits unfertilized eggs into the pouch, where they are then fertilized and kept until the male gives birth.
Also, some species of mouthbrooders have the male carry the eggs around. In his mouth, that is. Darwin's frogs do something similar.

Re: D&D Demotivators X: X Never marks the spot
Those are exactly the animals I was thinking of, but not to that detail!
Anyone want to take a shot at making this into a demotivator? I just finished looking for non-fanservice female pirates, so you could guess how I feel...
Spoiler: Am I Quiet from Metal Gear Solid 5?

I'd spent a bit of time helping someone over here. Won't mind if you contribute, because really many of the images don't fit the 'battered' part of the request.

Re: D&D Demotivators X: X Never marks the spot
Personally, those demotivators make me think of: "Cooking in the SUE System; There is a realistic chance of failure."
... For me the SUE system still is (and may always be) the gold standard for failure in system design. Not that worse systems don't exist, but none of them seem to fail in as interesting ways. Plus the SUE files are actually fun to read (which can't be said for many of these systems).
