Mathematically impossible alcohol is mathematically impossible.

This thread grows roughly 1.2 pages per update. This is shocking. I am envious.
Anyway, Can someone dig up the smileys we had of the party? I'm too lazy to search.

I'm going to add a Serrin sprite soon.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread The Third!)
I know it's been established that familiars and animal companions reflect the mood of their partners, but Fir's irritation over the alcohol policy is just adorable. He (or is it she) can't even drink.
Also, I like to think of this as a counterbalance to Legolas drinking Gimli under the table. :smalltongue:

You honestly thing that Serrin doesn't give Fir a little saucer of wine for her to drink? :smalltongue:
That scene was hilarious.

Now I am imagining a drunken kitty and laughing hysterically.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread The Third!)
Okay, something really creepy just went through my head :smalleek:
Poor...well, everyone.
I have no idea where this thought came from, but i doubt any of the characters would like any of those things happening.
Where do these thoughts come from?
Horrible emotional and mental torture for everyone seems to be a common thing in my head.

That's it. Fir's getting drunk in the comic.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread The Third!)
A scenario where the party get's harassed by a bored reality warper whose idea of fun is torturing and hurting people in a manner of different ways.
Like turning Janine into an orc.
Or swapping all of Lloyd's paladin levels for levels in Blackguard.
All for the lulz, while the party screams in horror in unison.
That kind of thing.
In short, bored godlike entity decides to mess with them for ****s and giggles.
And everyone suffers permanent emotional scarring as a result.
Like i said, i have no idea why this stuff keeps turning up in my mind.

:smalleek:
And what did they do with the others? Make Tinder wear dragonskin armor? Saw off Serrin's ear? :smalleek:

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread The Third!)
Pretty much.
It also involved forcing Tinder to experience flashbacks of his parents death's over and over and over with perfect clarity.
And Matt turning into a girl and being harrased by people who mistakes her for a prostitute and wants to buy her "Services"
And being robbed of everything he owns in the process.
Like i said, it was some creepy stuff that went through my skull there.

You, sir, are an incredibly disturbed person.
And I am a horribly perverted person for grinning at the idea of Matilda.
But you're still worse. Definitely.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread The Third!)

No, it wasn't. It was a mutual breakup and they're still good friends. Serrin and Rolf had (And still have) a very healthy relationship.

:smallfrown: ahh... if this was the reason that would have been great comedy potential... meh doesn't matter

That's not how Serrin is. Just because she's a half-elf doesn't mean that her life has to be an angstfest.

Who said I wanted an angfest? I didn't had that in mind.. and yeah I hate angfest-ing halfies (:mumbles incoherently about Oak:). Either way it is your story, not mine so do what you want to do.
I am sorry if it sounded diferently

No, I didn't mean to be rude about it. I just meant that for Serrin to break up with him over that would be out of character.
And yeah. That's part of the reason that Serrin and Luic have stable, wonderful, loving family and childhoods.

True...but I would wager the new policy is somewhere closer to "No Dwarven ale EVER!" than "Don't give the kitty some wine." So Fir's angry look still seems to be "I'm mad because my biped friends are mad," rather than "I was personally inconvenienced here."

Three words: Rule. Of. Cool.
Now, what's cooller... a loyal kitty? Or a slightly alcoholic kitty?

I take the third option a Loyal but slightly alcoholic kitty!

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread The Third!)
Exactly. You can have both.

(Hey, do we have a Fir smiley?)
