Same thing with Qs. If anybody wanted to hypothetically be a Q.
Although things might get a little confusing with many Qs running around.

Keris, let me explain this simply
Non-canon Rand is an unstoppable killing machine who won't rest until everyone he doesn't like is dead
Canon Rand is a LG sociopath (Don't say anything!) who works tirelessly to retain planar stability
And you should also note that being able to cast 10th level spells is an AI prerequisite. :smallwink:

So non-canon Rand is CE, while canon Rand is LG?

So we shouldn't really see any more in FI. We're not meant to have uber-powered characters in it, and I think Epic Levelled spellcasters would fall under that restriction.

Yes, but how would he lose all those levels? Do a bunch of wrights come along and drain Rand to the bare minimum? :smallannoyed:

More or less, yeah

Or be at least a 20th level arcane caster. :P
There might be some more currently unaccounted for, I might develop on the other 4 known AIs in existence, but that's a probability, yes.

Could do. Or he could use his Terrasque character. Or we could not have any more Arcane Incarnations, which is what I said.

Actually, now that I have been given Rand's permission, I might just make another Arcane Incarnation character for FI. :smalltongue:

AIs are immune to Energy Drain

It could work, but you might wanna work that around with Keris, and work with me with 'what the hell are you?'

Well, I was just joking, but :smallconfused:?

And what side would he be on? The Resistance, where he could just teleport to Ins and kill him, or the UNA, and where he could do the same to the Resistance?
High-powered characters are discouraged in FI. They ruin the drama. You notice that Lying, a barely Epic level spellcaster, will be incapacitated for much of the duration?

Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
My suggestion is that Q's AI char is neutral in the conflict, and he's just out there doing his own thing.
My Tarrasque character is on the Neutral side.

Im considering making a "backstory" comic about threeshades in the time between the final of FFF and the start of FI
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale-Discussion Thread XXII: Mutual agreement? What's that?
I was joking. I don't want to have an AI character. Although if he would, he'd be neutral. I was just antagonizing Keris. :smalltongue:
AIs are totally lame. :smalltongue:

Why would anybody want a god character that is inactive, anyway ? :smallconfused:

To combat the other god characters that will inevitably arise?

Doesn't matter, the only god character allowed to do stuff is Lying, and he at one time was unsure wether or not he was epic leveled. :smallannoyed:

Igon Minoblendy is not a god character. And he's incapacitated in FI.

Because he's actually allowed to do stuff, he's the closest thing to 'god' in this setting

You're very bitter, aren't you? :smalltongue:
I think we'll all be able to do stuff, hopefully, just not do everything instantly and pop into the bad guy's lair and kill him, instantly ending the plot.
The only thing I fear is that comics will be declared non-canon because of some little, minor flaw. Like that the building that the comic featured actually has 15 stories instead of 10, and a novel was written about before on the wiki so you're supposed to know this already and get it perfect. :smallsigh:

FI is meant to be more freeform. The setting is defined, but your actions within it are meant to be wholly your own, at least until the plot moves towards a conclusion again.

At that point you can kiss your character goodbye. :sigh:

Yep. We get the same predicament as we just had, and have now, but hopefully that shouldn't be for a while, and then we'll get another plot.
Probably wiping out the Sovices once and for all, or something like that...

I stand corrected. The Sovices are the god characters. :smallannoyed:
You developed the Sovices so they can't be killed. The only way I can see them being destroyed is if their power source, which I believe is of Divine source, is destroyed. In other words, kill their god, and they'll all die within minutes.

As I understand it, their god are analogous to the C'tan (and their appearance/personality are directly taken*), and not truly divine beings. I don't know what their power source is.
*"The Knowledge Bringer", also known as "The Great Deceiver", who appears as "as an androgynous Jaani with flowing robes and four curved horns jutting from its skull".
"The Bringer of Eternal Darkness", appearing "as a colossal semi-masculine figure shrouded in shadows and aged black robes, a hood obscuring most of its face" and carrying a scythe like weapon.
And "The Dragon in the Void", who's the most powerful.
The only one Lying (or whoever came up with them) missed is the Outsider.

Am I allowed to take a swing at some of their gods?
