The hammock was probably their whole reason for the attack anyways. :smalltongue:
Oh look, it's a princessy princess... Please make her do something not totally expected soon....
(Or at least show her barely dressed :smalltongue: )
That castle just screams vampires to me. Ew. Ew. Ew. Ew.
Dontgonearthe Castle
You know, aside from epically failing every spot check and sense motive, the Princess doesn't seem a bad sort.
Dim witted to the point I doubt she has two brain cells to rub together, but not a bad sort.
What sort of Beast is that? :smallwink:
And on another note... Time to start kicking around a new thread name. We're fast approaching page 50.
"Yet Another Thread"
I think the slow thread is a result of the rapid updates - there's not really enough time or daily material for people to get their teeth into a decent discussion.
Edit: I'm all for 'Yet Another Thread'.
I just can't think of anything worth saying. :smalltongue:
Also sometimes you just have to wait and see where things are going before you can discuss them. The updates are generally fairly short so there isn't a lot in them.
I think it should be five letters, like Yet Another Comic Discussion Thread.
Dominic Deegan updates don't count. You know what happens already.
Well, this comic is generally good, so there isn't the self feeding riffing and MST3K-ing of ol' DD. As for what the big guy is, he reminds me of certain depictions of trolls, especially the little horns.
On the other hand, he lives in a castle, so he might be an ogre.
I was thinking Ogre.
So are we thinking Beauty and the Beast style scenario or more a King Kong one?
Probably a king-kong like thing. She's expected soon, so there will be search parties and those will find out what happened to the driver and horse. They'll go after her.
It's (semi) official now, it's an ogre.
It looks very similar to all the ogres that has been in the comic so far and it looks nothing like an ettin or troll. How is there any confusion about it? :smallconfused:
I guess I should have came back sooner and commented.
Yeah, I figured it was an ogre as soon as I saw it, I was making a Beauty and the Beast joke. I thought the :smallwink: was a clue to my thinking. The Internet is no place for subtlety.
Anyways, waiting to see how Rich skewers the B&tB tropes.
I just finished reading Terry Pratchett's Witches Abroad and this plot is really amusing to me.
And thus the goblins realized that by investing in earplugs, they would be able to attract an endless supply of food.
They're going to use her to lure in animals they can eat? Sweet.
If they really pull that off I'll have that sour taste of 'Drawn together did it first' in my mouth for the whole arc...
