I'd like to sign up for this.
I would like to try this game. Sounds cool.
*waves hand in the air*
Insanowar = awesomesauce. I wanna be in toooooo!
Hmmm. If we get enough players, I could set something up for you guys, though I won't be playing myself.
I be up for a game if you want to get started.
Hm...*counts* We have 3 players looking for one now, but there's also Castaras, but that was over a month ago, and looking at her sig I'm not sure if she'll be available for one.
Yeah, you'll have to find another player other than me. Sorry.
Ah what the hell, might as well.
*raises hand*
Right, so, that's four. One more and I'll set something up. May as well start asking available players now:
What game type would you want? (Normal, Space, that Defender variant I posted on page 1?)
In addition, would you prefer a simple map or something with more special stuff on the map, such as the Soulshards from Insanowar 2 that allowed for a resurrection?
Cool with anything.
The defender one could be cool, if anyone up for it? Otherwise cool with any!
I'll need one more player if you guys decide to play my Defender variant. Otherwise I can always just set up a 4-player game, but you need an odd number for that particular variant.
Throw my name in the hat for *looks at the list, counts posts, loses count, starts over, gets bored* I don't know, Insanowar 13? 27?
42?
Honestly, I'm inclined to drop the number off this one, since it's going to be a variant.
I'll send PMs when the thread's up and I've picked out the Defender.
Well, if you guys don't mind. I'll be glad to join as a second defender. That way it'd be 4vs2 teams.
It works out in my head, at least-two separate Defenders makes it less likely that the separate teams will swarm an individual one.
Wanting to join this! So much!
Edit: this referring to the next insanowar game
Shoggoths > Kobolds
Well if you can get 3 more I am more then happy to host,
Sure, I'll throw my hat in the ring as a player.
Cool, that three so I start asking, is there any particular variant you want to play or you guys happy with classic? are you happy with This idea of a reactive game?
I'd prefer to play classic, if it's all the same to you two, and I have no opinion either way on the proposed rule.
Classics ok - I've never played, so I'm not sure which rule works better. I vote DM's choice.
Feel free to say 'PM you fool, you're being too overpowered and unfair!'
If I am
Not just randomly.
On that note, what's the upper limit of power for the choices?
PM you fool, you're being too--
Oh. Not randomly.
Damn. :smallfrown:
The game host usually sets the power level. FWIW, I've found the higher the power level the less interesting it is to me as a bystander. You end up with god like beings resisting everything thrown at them.
*snerk*
Incidentally, I'd like to sign up.
...my plan involves Gilgamesh. The Fate/Stay Night one. :smallamused:
No, he will not use Ea at full power. I have little interest in destroying the world. :smalltongue: ...I'll limit Ea use to what we've seen him pull in the anime.
And I'm for that rule. I had one thing in my Insanowar game where a guy got killed by something that he should have been able to regen from (Uliquorra Clifer has MASSIVE regen) before I got to do... anything with him. :smallfrown:
When I specifically took low-powered choices with the other choices so him being on my side would be balanced. Yeah.
Okay, IF I were to run an insanowar game, and IF I were to say 'no anime allowed', would people want to play? Not there there is anything wrong with anime picks, but non-anime players and bystanders are often at a loss, especially when a team is almost all anime.
* Hopefully nobody takes this the wrong way. After all, an 'all anime' insanowar is also a perfectly valid theme that someone could run.
** Very big 'IF's
...
That wouldn't affect my core strategy. It would be mildly annoying, but dealwithable
Of course I think Robert Blackletter is running my game, so go for it :p
Yeah, I don't intend to pull players out of the game Robert's setting up. This would be a hypothetical future game that may or may not ever exist.
