Pish posh. Every android should be fully functional, and anatomically correct.

Yeah, that's how androids roll.

Then why did you show the Sovereign exploding? :smallconfused::smalltongue:

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
Because I can't tell the difference between the two.
And I'm not sure MM can either, since the captain he and I have depicted on that ship called it the Yamoto.
EDIT: Hey! It's Mechafox! Maybe he'll update the archives!
Just kidding. If you're busy with... whatever it was you were busy with, I'm sure one of us can take over...
Not it! :smallbiggrin::smalltongue:

That would be a waste of time and resources depending on it's function, even if it are supposed to look real then it still not necessary to make the parts covered by clothes, if not then giving it a face wouldn't even be necessary.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
Well, SOME androids were designed as spies/assassins... A little seduction can work wonders in that regard...
Err...
Did I just mentally scar some of you?

Not really. Besides seduction doesn't mean they have to go that far (most relationships take long until reaching that far, time an assasin don't have)

He can tell the difference. The captain in his comics is on the Sovereign, while the admiral is on the Yamato, which the captain refers to in the latest comic. There is a reason he wrote the names on top of the ships.

It's a reference to the Sexy Data Tango.

You need practice, young padawan.

Casual relationships can be very quick. Besides, a robotic assassin has all the time in the world.

I think assasinations are supposed to be quick, if the one paying wants the guy dead then you don't waste months on getting close to him.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
I don't know about that, Kev. Besides, some people are doing this out of a vendetta... If the target falls in love with assassin, the betrayal is all the more... painful...

Wait, that font is supposed to be legible?

They're expected to be efficient (and polite, and have a plan, etc.). It can be quick, but it can sometimes take a long time to gain trust and get close enough to make the killing blow. Of course, the long route is often more expensive, but androids don't really need money, do they?

It is legible. Although it's flipped horizontally as well.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
Oh, the writing on the ships is inverted, now I get it...
Fine, the sovereign exploded. It's the ship I thought I was on when I first boarded it, so this is just as well.
EDIT: I get ninja'd a lot.
Anyway, see you guys in a while, I'm off to Driver's Ed...
*shudder* And this time I'm going on the highway...
And I'm amazed I'm not constantly honked at. Because I do something so Insane, other drivers don't even contemplate it- I drive at the speed limit.
Or maybe driving 5-10 miles over is just an American thing. One more reason to consider moving to Europe, I geuss.

Still, it doesn't require THAT.

Why not? You'd be getting even closer to the target. And besides, they'd be completely defenceless mid "that".

I think my dad has a movie like that. Still I think it's bad and you can't change that.

You've still got the Yamato, and that's more heavily armed of the two. Out of curiosity, what was it that caused the explosions in the spheres?

Yes, but it isn't as armoured as the Sovereign and can't take out Alphantican ships as easily as its sister ship (no torpedoes). The two complemented each other: the Yamato had lasers against air and ground targets, and the Sovereign had torpedoes against naval targets.

Lasers. And it wasn't an explosion, but a combustion.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
A very short FFF comic from me. Shows my character in his new clothes preparing his men on alphantica for a land battle.

Mmm... These infantrymen are going to be pretty useful against lasers fired from the sea. :smalltongue:

"Fire lasers."
All that remained of the men of Sharnin was fine dust on the snow-covered landscape.

There are spells that protect against transmutation spells pal. :smallannoyed:

Lasers aren't spells. :smallamused:

But they still transmute things into dust so the spell would still work. :smallamused::smallamused:

Yeah, but I bet the lasers designed to destroy gigantic ships can ignore the weak protection of mooks (Megadoomer would maybe survive though)

They don't "transmute", they vaporise.

Yes vaporization transmutes the matter into dust. :smallamused:
